It's interesting that YHWH allowed me to see this as I have been wondering if my cat is demon possessed due to his propensity to attack me for no reason by throwing his entire body at my face unprovoked, attempts to stop me reading my bible (and also damaging it), deleting 30,000 words out of biblical studies I'm working on and so on.
Having said that, I don't agree that animals are not self-conscious as Rev. MacArthur said at 24:15. I'm sorry but this seemingly contradicts the bible.
1)The serpent in the garden of Eden was self-conscious but it wasn't a snake. It was a drakon.
2)Balaam's Ass in Numbers 22 is clearly self-conscious but simply can't speak.
3)According to Ezekiel 1, some angels have animal faces.
Also if animals weren't self-conscious then it wouldn't make any sense for god to have told the Israelites to also kill the pagan people whose lands they conquered. Obviously the animals also followed those pagan religions.
