I love President Eyring so much. It is so fitting that such a perfect talk like this was given on this day. I felt like he was speaking directly to me in every single way. I know what I need to do better for those I love so deeply. Thank you God and thank you President Eyring.
This address by President Eyring was a direct answer to a question I had written prior to General Conference hoping for further guidance. The question was: I have family members who have abandoned their temple covenants and lost (or buried) their testimonies of the restored Church of Jesus Christ. How can I best help/serve them? As I listened to this address during General Conference I felt a direct answer to my question, and further, much needed comforting words from a modern-day prophet, seer and revelator. As the address concluded, I found myself sobbing out of gratitude and love for Heavenly Father for hearing and answering my prayer and providing me comfort.
It is difficult seeing those we love passing away, yet the Lord is raising up several amazing Elders to step in when these pass through the veil🙏 I am excited for the future of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so excited that I may just convert… ❤️🙏
I agree. It's also hard seeing local leaders getting old. I was working the temple recommend desk one day when my first bishop in college came in. Granted, he was my bishop 35 years ago. But it was hard seeing him as a frail old man.
I was a w lost child for a LONG time, but came back to Jesus Christ's truth around 2007. (My 2 sisters were lost as well.) STILL, my parents stayed TRUE to their temple Covenants the whole time, and all 3 of us girls came back, and attend the temple. Our folks went through more grief and fear than they should've had to, but their joy was GREAT when we were ok again. 💜🫂🙏🏼 I'm so thankful they didn't ban our presence, or disown us, because we may not have made it back if they had let pride take over. What a BLESSING they are! 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
DEAR elder Eyring i want wings as eagle, i wanto walk and not faint, i want to teach the Simple doctrine of the Lord, i want to be submisive, meek, humble, i want to do and become more like my savior JESUS CHRIST

I would not send my children to school if I had children now in uk.They are teaching children thing's children should not even hear on their innocent ears.I weep how debauched this World is now. I love this true Church .Im such a rubbish missionary 😢😢 noone has followed through me.One person has got rid of all Buddhas and ordered a king James Bible but that's it.Why can people not feel the spirit I have in my heart.
Hi Mary, You are a great example of following Jesus Christ! The main way we can teach the gospel is by our Christlike example. What I try to do when I talk to people that are less active or non members, is to ask them what they did for their weekend. They say something, than I mention something about going to church. They might be curious and ask me what church I belong to, then I can share some little things. If I don't do that, I can share right here online, and do it often God bless you!
I am soooo with you on the state of public schooling - My daughter is not able to do homeschool and tries so hard to counter the garbage administered to her kids with gospel teaching here at home and accessing media that is affirms the founding principles intended for USA. And - please don't discredit your missionary efforts - it is so untrue. I focus on service and sharing the gospel to my neighbors. Yet, I too get discouraged because my efforts have not produced VISIBLE fruit. But yes, our job is to love, serve, and share the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. We plant seeds- and will not know the fruits they bore until perhaps the next life. You are valiant servant in the Lord's vineyard - bless you
Mary, Do NOT let Satan tell you that lie! The man who got rid of Buddha and got a KJV of the Bible is coming closer to Christ through your efforts! Keep teaching line upon line. You have done your part. You are testifying of Jesus Christ. It is awful what public schools can teach these days. Much love ❤️ to you.
