I've delayed ordering one of these (just to give my bank account a little break), but now I'm gonna have to go ahead and pull the trigger. Thanks for the solid review, as always!
Money, who needs it. RC cars on the other hand just can't be left out there for someone else. Haha, thanks, bro.
I think I may get one of these for our local comps. I currently run Class 2 and 3 1/10 scale. I'll likely go with the brushless version though.
If the brushed version is this good, the brushless will be a beast. It's an awesome rig, and with just a few mods and tuning, it will be the best 1/18 crawler.
What a great response to furi tel from hobby plus ! I’m super impressed with this rig and they really got this scale pegged! Never thought I’d get into a comp rig , but this might be my first! Great job sharing the details with all of us thank you brother! Merry Christmas 🎁 🎄 to you and yours my friend!🌟👊🏼😁
Thanks, bro. Merry Christmas to you, too. Hobby Plus and Furitek are actually partners. Both of them are making really good products. Now go get one before they sell out.
I’m watching all the videos of the Evo mine is on the way I got the brushless Furitek version it just came back into stock. I have the Fury wagon already but I’m really looking forward to a comp style mini most are just trail trucks.
Nice! Yeah, this rig is the real deal. I'm starting the upgrade soon.
Can’t buy anymore RCs for a short time lol!!
If I hadn’t maxed out lately I’d ave one of these!!!
LOL. A sad Christmas Eve. Maybe Santa will bring you one.
Hi there. Great video. Do you think the extra $50 is worth paying for the brushless or is the brushed version fine
Absolutely worth every penny. Brushless!
54 degree incline seems pretty bad, I don't know what stock stuff is though. My two builds both easily do 70 degrees and I don't find them particularly capable.
It's not great. But that is box stock. I have brass upgrades and suspension tuning to do. 70-degree incline is awesome. But most rocks aren't flat incline, and im sure you get high centered with that setup, and you have to give up ground clearance to get there. A happy medium is what works best. Different courses require different setups. That's what makes crawling fun and challenging.
Waiting on mine to arrive! Can’t wait to try it out.
It's has the best chassis in 18th scale by far. Fun and capable.
Just pre-ordered mine says it will be ready to ship on the 26th
That's pretty fast. I don't think you will be disappointed at all. Super capable rig for under $!80. Lots of upgrades are already available, too.
How tight is the turning radius compared to the FX118 Fury Wagon being the CR18P EVO is a bit wider? I bet it does not steer nearly as tight from my experience of widening crawler rigs.
It is not as tight. The wider stance and larger tires increase the radius. Not by a lot. I was able to get it lined up without reversing.
Good to hear the steering radius is still good. I do like the body the CR18P EVO Pro uses & might get a clear unpainted one soon when they are available for my FX118 Fury Wagon.

@@hyperc5249 thanks. Do you know how long it takes for them to ship them?
@@williamuptgraft1755 they ship fast. No more than a few days.
Nice
Thanks.

What the wheel base? MM.
160
@@hyperc5249I've managed to custom stretch my FX-118 Fury Wagon to 203.2mm😮😊 what comp class could I run?
This or FX118?
Vanilla or chocolate??? LOL I like them both.
@@hyperc5249 lol very true I can only afford one and just can’t freaking choose! It’s killing me, any advice or preferences would be very helpful since the PRO is so new
I literally just ordered mine. If you watch a few more videos on it you’ll see there’s really no comparison
@@jonhowland4985 you ordered the EVO? There just isn’t enough info and reviews out yet to solidify my decision. What were the main reasons you picked the EVO?
@@ryanecko2141 I just really like the stance out of the box. The lcg with the chassis and body is sick. No shaving things or modifying the body mounts. How it handles out of the box is scary good. Add overdrive portal gears in the front for like 20 bucks and you’re killing lines. I’m pretty sure you can get 1.2in brass rings, a par on the front would get you 60/40 bias or more. Oh…and I found a brushless version for 219+ shipping.
Loose the music!
