- Widely regarded as the Britain’s national dish, the Chicken Tikka Masala has been the most requested of curries that all of you have asked me to cook. So here it is, in all its glory! Enjoy making this sweet, spicy, coconutty deliciousness, and don’t forget to tag me in pictures of your creations!

Ingredients:
Masala Sauce:
4 tbsp yoghurt
1 tsp fenugreek (optional)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp tandoori massala (optional)
2 tsp smoked paprika
For the cook:
600g pre-cooked Chicken Tikka

2 tbsp butter ghee
1 tbsp oil
3 small onions
1 tsp garam massala
1.5 tsp salt (or to taste)
2 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
50 ml cream
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
3 tbsp tomato purée (diluted)
6 tbsp peeled plum tomatoes (blitzed)
80g desiccated coconut (toasted)
1 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional)
300ml boiling water

The smoked paprika I used became the predominant taste, so I substituted some of it for normal paprika. This is the best Tikka Massala recipe I have ever made, absolutely delicious and very simple. Thank you.

Love your videos Shah , makes me so hungry now, I've finished my chemotherapy in Southampton General, treatment for leukaemia for the moment and passes the time, luckily I don't live too far from lymington, once all this gets back to normality shall pay Rivaaz a visit, with my partner and my mum & dad, can't wait!! As was meaning to come before I was diagnosed before by 35th birthday 🎂, keep up the good work
