Lovely video! I've been combing UA-cam for more content on this camera, and this is definitely a top tier video demonstrating its strengths. Thanks for the informative lesson in portrait photography.

I was able to order mine yesterday. Had to look far and wide to find one. I even called the online retailer and had the clerk go back and actually put his hands on one. This Lens sacrifices nothing as far as image and optical quality from a V series lens. It is perfect for my work and you have only confirmed it. Thanks and you definitely took some great portrait shots with it. It is an amazing lens. I previously passed on the 65 and 80 but been looking far and wide for this one and for good reason. I have the 90 but wanted this as soon as it was announced and I saw the first reviews and test photos from this lens. Great to see you at work and your lighting options and results. A lesson in itself.

Almost 13 minutes of pure explosive and straight to the point dynamic learning.
I have watched several of your videos now, and (i must recognize, they are addictive) because of their simplicity _both for being productive and full of inspiring tips.
What a difference in technique and dynamics - you have - from American photographers who want to sell and sell, always indirectly encouraging to buy their presets and courses and gear and shit (that next day they despise because they already got their commission or unexpectedly hate for the promotion of another new piece of gear in a nonsense video.)
    "Allons enfants de la Patrie,
Le jour de gloire est arrivé !"
    Que tes ennemis expirants
Voient ton triomphe et notre gloire !"
[ Extract from the French National Anthem - La Marseillaise ]
    Arise, children of the Fatherland,
The day of glory has arrived!
    So that your dying enemies
See your triumph and our glory!
    Vous avez des manières impeccables.
    Merci bien!
    Invaluable knowledge and information.
    Thank you so much!

wow, your English is so easy to understand! I'm from Germany and I'm not particularly good at English, but I can understand every single word! That's impressive! I can hardly understand Americans, for example.
By the way, I love your videos! Very cool production and awesome photos!
    Please never stop❤❤❤

Very inspiring. Your lighting and framing and composition create some strong pieces of work.
The way you direct your models and your energy in front of the camera draw me in as a viewer.
The production quality as well as the information that you’re sharing keep me watching.
I have an editorial profile shoot booked in the morning, I’m going to use some of your pointers and maybe some of the poses too! 😊
    Thanks 👍📸🎥

This, folks, is how you came to master portrait photography... like it or not.
Yes the camera is costly, but it would not be a Hasselblad !
When a young eager photographer I found myself in Sweden, for good reasons. And got the chance of using those cameras for weeks, without limitations... this is how it goes when you meet the nicest people. Only downside was to load films in, other than that : I was living in a dream !
You have to experience it to fully understand how deep you find yourself immersed in the photograph, and the moment.
I'd love to give it a go, digital Hasselblads seem way above the the average rest.
Sony have done a great job with those new sensors, they boast a huge dynamic range. For portraiture, you need nothing else and can create no matter the conditions.
Well done Hasselblad and Sony, beautifully done Mark !

Useful, thank you. Since you were very positive on the 90 f/2.5 V lens about a year ago, I'm curious how you would compare that lens with the 75 f/4 P. Are these two lenses either / or, or is there a rationale for owning both (other than just having deep pockets)?

Interesting, at 5:41 you use the spot AF and not the face detection AF. Do you also experience the face detection very often places the focal plane behind where it should be? The more close up you are the more pronounced the effect is.
