It's good that you performed this tame on official rates. So many people that make videos like this do so on servers with 5-10x taming which doesn't give an accurate demonstration of the taming method.
That's a very well crafted video ! It seems they changed the spawn, as it used to spawn on "inland water" instead of swamp. I do appreciate it tho, it's a pain to find anything that spawn in inland water (like spino) because most of the spawn are fish.

I did notice that I am finding less spawns in rivers and inland water, I do believe they can still spawn in those areas like the Sarco but it's quite rare, someone did see one spawn in the shallow waters on the snow island beach which can sometimes spawn the odd Sarco! I do agree! It's nice that they do mainly spawn in the swamps!
I always wanted to see the Lake Placid croc in a game lol. For real though, this is a must tame. Taming method is practically easy for such a good all purpose mount.
Btw, you can just use the same shadowmane taming trap to tame this think. A 2x2 that has 2 walks on each side. The croc won’t aggro to you once it is in and you can feed it through the wall.

@@CeratoGamer I don't think you're going wrong anywhere to be honest!!...Content creation is tough and I guess ARK is also tough due to it being a little stagnant right now and having a split player base with two games so naturally it's very difficult being a content creator focusing only on ARK right now, I do hope it picks up! Great video as always sir. I totally missed scorched when I made my video. Also cave spawns are scary. Imagine if they spawned on the island caves, that would make a few of the caves a bit more difficult. I wonder if the bary stun works on them 😮

@@BEYPlaysGames it’s weird, I tried testing it with piranhas like sarcos, but they were weird. Sometimes they would swim up to me, then bite me then turn around, other times that would swim away the moment I came close. Definitely interesting on what is and what is not aggressive towards the deino.

Are all Dino mods compatible with each other eg Additions with sunken world and paleo? On ps5? Great vid as always I think you’re format is unique and cannot really be improved upon
Thank you for the kind words!! I believe most are compatible, I have had around 10 different dino mods running on my other server without any issues, i'm sure there are some that may cause issues but i'm yet to run into any :)
The main differance Ive seen is they upped drag weight considerably. Rhynio cant pick the asa version where you could in the mod. Meaning its to heavy to go in boss fights.
Nope and you don't need the mod for the Gigantoraptor any more btw. I don't even know why they left the mod there, thankfully they scratched that idea of adding the community voted creatures as a downloadable mod, they will spawn naturally unless they change it in the future! Hope that makes sense :)
Can jellyfish and/or eel dismount the rider from it ? If so, that'd be the first reason to proceed with either speed or caution taking fights in deep oceans, even on a good one w/ good saddle. Anyhow , thanks for the upload and info, mate!
No problem! :D....Sadly they take damage from all those annoying creatures, Jellyfish will stun and dismount the rider and are also effected by the Electrophorus attacks!

I had to brute force my way through over 100 Megalodons including alphas, it was so badly overspawned in there, it was almost mission impossible 🤣

Yeah I guess it's a little odd not having a death roll, definitely one of the cooler creatures to be added! I must admit I haven't tested that yet, I will once I get back on the game and let you know!
It's kinda weird with the Piranha, a lot of the time they seem to swim up to you then turn around swimming the other way and other times they have attacked the Deino then swam off, so it doesn't deter them so to speak but the Piranhas definitely don't just want to swarm attack it either, very odd XD
Is it immune to stuns and dismounts? That's like the singular most important info for whether or not it supplants the Basilosaurus as a main water mount and maybe I'm missing it, but none of the videos on Deinosuchus seem to have that info.
It's because it isn't immune to anything, all those annoying creatures will stun and dismount you, Even Kapros if aggro'd can dismount the player off the top I would include info like that in the video if it was immune to anything XD
That's odd, These new creatures literally attack and kill everything so half the time there's nothing but these new creatures left XD. Have you tried a few dino wipes?
I tested everything out, would have included it in the video if it was, it's not immune to any of those creature attacks, must admit the Xiphactinus hasn't dismounted my rider yet but if the Kapro can do it i would assume the Xiphactinus can too!
I'd say I can usually see around 10-15 spawn on the map at a time...have you done a dino wipe? If not try killing everything off in the swamp and see if any spawn in!
@@AKayani559 No problem! Last I checked using console commands did not disable achievements, definitely didn't when playing Survival Evolved on console, my wife owns the game on Series S I could check to see if I unlock achievements in GCM if you want me to clarify it?
@@BEYPlaysGames that is up to you if you want to do it but thx for the offer I did a bit of research on reddit and found mix responses some saying it dosent some saying it does i have been wanting to use the Dino wipe command but find it to risky but I am tempted like I'm actually playing ASA after a 4 month break because new dinos weren't spawning like for example in my world there's only 2 low level spinos and I was looking for boss fighting rexes but only low levels spawned and when I killed them no more spawned so that why I gave up but now I finally decided to come back to the game
@@AKayani559 Yeah it always has been a mixed response, I can't remember if the achievements work in ASA but yeah I don't mind checking, i won't be able to check until tomorrow most likely! I can imagine the game would be hard to play if you're scared of breaking achievements and using admin commands :(
Someone has found them in the yellow land beacons so far, I did spawn in a tonne of drops earlier and found none myself but I'll comment back if/when I do.

I honestly really hate how much the deino is outshining the sarco. It really feels like wildcard could care less about the earlier added Dino’s. Now that the deino is official, what is the sarco even good for?
I do agree with you in a way, Deino is so much more fun for me but yeah I don't think there's any advantage to tame a Sarco other than a slightly better swim speed :(
If on single player turn down Xp so the early game lasts longer making sarco and other dinos more useful for longer or just speed play and don’t bother with taming 90 % of the underdog dinos
ok someone explain WHY THE HELL I FOUND A DEINOSUCHUS IN THE EDGE OF THE SNOW BIOME IN SINGLE PLAYER??? oh and that was my first ever deinoshuchus i found since the update because i have never installed the mod. edit after 6 hrs : i found a 140 on a tracker as in 4 deinsuchus
If it's the spot where you can spawn on the snow beach there's a few Sarcos that occasionally spawn in the shallow waters there so that's probably why as they share spawns with the Sarco, I doubt you'd see them commonly in that spot 🤣
They definitely have a few weird spawns. I was collecting the mid-northern most river loot crates below the ruins that's usually totally safe to enter from water, and a wild male 95 was up to the left by the stairs entrance from inside the ruin above that area full of pearls and the two blue crates.
Well in a way yes, most of the ARK additions creatures are coming to ASA! I've watched streams from the mod owner and i would assume it's all a mutual agreement and he was compensated well for them using his modded creatures in the base game! I believe there will be 7 more creatures added from the mod!
What I see is so many people complaining and asking for a nerf on Deinosuchus but they will complain and cry when it is nerfed and looks horrible, take note of this BeyPlaysGames. Hypocritical people!!!!!

Maybe so but yes it can still enter boss arenas, I already tested it to see if the Gigabite effect worked against bosses!

I haven't seen any of the three new creatures added, I've scoured the map killed countless sarcos and nothing, am I missing something?
That's odd, These new creatures literally attack and kill everything so half the time there's nothing but these new creatures left XD. Have you tried a few dino wipes?
is it immune to jellyfish, squid or baryonyx attacks? can you be taken off by X fish and kapros?
I tested everything out, would have included it in the video if it was, it's not immune to any of those creature attacks, must admit the Xiphactinus hasn't dismounted my rider yet but if the Kapro can do it i would assume the Xiphactinus can too!

Yellow and Red drops and I believe people have found them in the standard yellow and red cave crates!
Can they go into Boss arenas?
Yeah they can! They are actually one of the strongest boss fighters in many arenas!

I'd say I can usually see around 10-15 spawn on the map at a time...have you done a dino wipe? If not try killing everything off in the swamp and see if any spawn in!
@@BEYPlaysGames thx but I'm on console and using commands disables achievements which I don't want to happen
@@AKayani559 No problem! Last I checked using console commands did not disable achievements, definitely didn't when playing Survival Evolved on console, my wife owns the game on Series S I could check to see if I unlock achievements in GCM if you want me to clarify it?
@@BEYPlaysGames that is up to you if you want to do it but thx for the offer I did a bit of research on reddit and found mix responses some saying it dosent some saying it does i have been wanting to use the Dino wipe command but find it to risky but I am tempted like I'm actually playing ASA after a 4 month break because new dinos weren't spawning like for example in my world there's only 2 low level spinos and I was looking for boss fighting rexes but only low levels spawned and when I killed them no more spawned so that why I gave up but now I finally decided to come back to the game
@@AKayani559 Yeah it always has been a mixed response, I can't remember if the achievements work in ASA but yeah I don't mind checking, i won't be able to check until tomorrow most likely! I can imagine the game would be hard to play if you're scared of breaking achievements and using admin commands :(

Not yet but I was going to look into it once I get out of bed and will add any more additional information in a pinned comment! :)
Someone has found them in the yellow land beacons so far, I did spawn in a tonne of drops earlier and found none myself but I'll comment back if/when I do.
I just want to know if the bleed works on bosses 😢
I tested it out on the Broodmother and it didn't effect it, can use the Gigabite for big damage but there is no follow up damage/bleed effect after!

I honestly really hate how much the deino is outshining the sarco. It really feels like wildcard could care less about the earlier added Dino’s. Now that the deino is official, what is the sarco even good for?
I do agree with you in a way, Deino is so much more fun for me but yeah I don't think there's any advantage to tame a Sarco other than a slightly better swim speed :(
Early game dino
If on single player turn down Xp so the early game lasts longer making sarco and other dinos more useful for longer or just speed play and don’t bother with taming 90 % of the underdog dinos
Yeah to be fair the saddle for the Sarco is unlocked at level 30 something so gotta think of it as the beginner version of croc

ok someone explain WHY THE HELL I FOUND A DEINOSUCHUS IN THE EDGE OF THE SNOW BIOME IN SINGLE PLAYER??? oh and that was my first ever deinoshuchus i found since the update because i have never installed the mod. edit after 6 hrs : i found a 140 on a tracker as in 4 deinsuchus
If it's the spot where you can spawn on the snow beach there's a few Sarcos that occasionally spawn in the shallow waters there so that's probably why as they share spawns with the Sarco, I doubt you'd see them commonly in that spot 🤣

They definitely have a few weird spawns. I was collecting the mid-northern most river loot crates below the ruins that's usually totally safe to enter from water, and a wild male 95 was up to the left by the stairs entrance from inside the ruin above that area full of pearls and the two blue crates.

Well in a way yes, most of the ARK additions creatures are coming to ASA! I've watched streams from the mod owner and i would assume it's all a mutual agreement and he was compensated well for them using his modded creatures in the base game! I believe there will be 7 more creatures added from the mod!

Agreed, I don't think it needs changing to be honest, a giant croc that size needs to be strong so I think it's a perfect representation! 😁

The Switch version of ASE hardly runs as is so I cannot imagine how poorly ASA would run on that platform.
