Dec 19 2021 will be a date I will never forget as this was the date that I finally achieved my goal and ambition of doing a try dive while wearing a drysuit in a swimming pool with a qualified instructor this was something that I had been wanting to do for 8 long years and finally got to do this as I have a bladder problem I had to wear my adult nappy underneath my thermals underneath my drysuit it was an amazing experience for me ì learnt how to control my buoyancy with bcd and the inflator on the drysuit and now I'm looking at doing this in open water in a drysuit to get more knowledge etc this is one life long ambition I'll never forget
Johnsons baby oil is basically mineral oil and fragrance. Mineral oil is a by-product of petroleum. Petroleum based products are bad for many kinds of rubber including your drysuit seals.
I don't like talc either, but I would never put a petroleum-based product on my seals. I use a little Dawn dishwashing detergent mix with water in a spray bottle.
If you descend head first you run the risk of gas collecting in the feet of your suit. You shouldn't swim to descend anyhow. Do an actual scuba class and find out why.
You haven't made a lot of dives in cold water have you? As someone who does so every week, it's plenty fun and a dry suit is actually super nice in those situations

WRONG.....you can submerge any positions out like! How tf you gonna swim fine to the bottom with your feet down

I will never want even use one of those so expensive and no to much to see in cold waters I still diving in warm waters
