It came out really good and your hair looks sooo Healthy! That shinnneeeee Chile 😍 When I lighten/ dye my hair I start an 3/4 -1 inch away from my scalp and make sure not to double process my already lightened hair. I typically avoid the pre lightened hair all together. Then once my hair is almost the color I want I go back and lighten my roots because that section of the hair always lightens the quickest since lighteners are heat activated and the scalp produces the most heat. If I want to lighten the ends further than what it already is then that’s when I go and add the products to the ends 🙏🏾 I also do a protein treatment a couple days before to prevent damage & directly after I dye it if needed.

FYI-I can not dye dark hair blonde. The hair kits you purchased contain lightener aka bleach. You just needed some blue or violet shampoo to tone out the brass.
So you use the shampoo to lighten black hair??

Just for people coming here because of the (NO BLEACH) title....what she's using DOES contain bleach. A lot, actually.
She's gorgeous and her hair came out dope, but the title is incorrect and can mislead many people into dragging their natural hair. Bleaching ALWAYS damages hair.

Love this smmm i has only used one amateur dying box on my hair and it didn’t come out (it apparently was the same color as my natural hair i soon realized.) but this helped alotttt i have liked and subbed tysmm🤍🤍

Tone it to get rid of the brassiness/orange and make the color complement your complexion better. When lightening dark hair that many levels, you need to tone it.
K C I’ve never heard of toning w/ box dye which is why I never did it but I may consider trying it my next dye.
You HAVE to lighten it one more time. For the toner to take effect it needs to be lighter or else it will not work. Toner doesn't work on hair that color.

Purple shampoo tones just fine. I use it to tone the lace on my frontals/wigs all the time after bleaching the knots.

loved this video!! I’ve heard the urge to dye my hair 😭 for a first timer would you recommend me bleaching my hair before adding semi permanent to lighten it or could I use box dye to lighten it then add whatever color semi permanent on top ?
I’ll always recommend going to a professional for bleach tbh😭 But box dye is a much simpler process that is not as easy to mess up
