As mentioned in the comments, all box dyes do in fact have some type of bleach or ammonia in the product . in fact the concentration is usually higher than going to a professional because it has to be set at a equal point where it can to be used on all hair types and all hair colors for diverse customers

I bought the Revlon colorsilk deep red and Inecto caramel blonde but the color I'm going for is ginger. Idk if the two colors will work or if I should add another color. I'm scared that I'll just end up with a brighter red😐 And I hate red hair, I don't want red hair😭

Yes, I just tried today and didn't work. My hair is currently black I tried with intense red. Two boxes...it didn't change the colour at all...

This is exactly how I color my hair and I get nice results and a good color. I don’t use a separate bleach. Just the box dye.
