Hey man, I'm super impressed by your video quality. It's kind of like watching a berm peak video from back in the day. Anyway, I wanted to tell you that maxxlight isn't a mainstream company and the fork is a clear rip-off of a Manitou fork. I'm telling you this because these knock-off forks tend to break/snap in a short time with moderate use. Unlike Suntour forks, which are built to last, forks like these cannot take the same abuse. Take care bro.
Ya, thank you for letting me know. I already new about the consequences but it is a risk I am wiling to take. I had to replace my fork because the old one had a striped bolt so I had no chose. Thanks again man, I appreciate you watching out for me.
I love that you pulled out your Leatherman to file the tube down. 😁
Great video man! Awesome upgrade!
Glad you liked it!!

Sounds like a well needed upgrade. Was it nerve racking cutting that piece off considering it was a 70 dollar part?
Not at all. Most "good" bike parts cost at least more than 200$ and I have done the process of installing a fork before.
❤
So, did you like and did it hold up?
Yes! it holds up great and I really like it!
