I can't be the only one who was raised in the church and felt like there was something missing. I searched. I tried to make sense of it using science and nothing made sense until I discovered The Flat Earth. So many things fell into place. I just want to serve my God to the best of my ability. An over-simplification: The OT only makes sense when you read the NT and vice versa. They are companion books. The OT explains why we need salvation and the NT explains how to obtain it. It's a choice and God will never force it upon you. God created us with the magnificent gift of free will. Without it love cannot exist. Without love we are robots or mindless matter.
I got taught the same thing from Chuck Missler, Chuck Smith, Dr. Walter Martin, Greg Koukl and many others. This isn't anything I haven't heard before.
Is it any wonder you question the faith? If Diesel understood the free will argument and understood Scripture more accurately he wouldn't have posted as he did (Acts 18:24-26). Btw...I like Dave too...and he's done alot for the flat earth movement. However, when a person does SO MUCH they spread themselves thin and it's hard to become proficient at any one thing. To understand God's Word requires two things. It requires God first and foremost...and time...lots of time in His Word. Contradictions only exist because of ignorance. As Christians we're all growing in the grace, and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The two things Dave saw as contradictions in the NT can easily reconciled.

I realised early on that it comes down to commonality. The more things in common the more truth you have. Probably won't be 100% and I don't think anything will be 100% until God shows himself in this world. It is up to us as a collective whole to find the truth and and change as a whole. There is three stages how the criminals of this world do things. First is to distort the truth, second is to manipulate the truth, and third is to completely corrupt the truth. It is mind boggling how much information you have to absorb to get a better understanding of the reality you live in. Truth is reality and reality is truth, that simple folks. It's up to us as a collective to whole to find this, we can't change as a whole without the whole. The whole tactic of divide and conquer has been played for thousands of years. If you get discouraged and think that it's too much, reach out more to like minded people. Keep going and never stop digging. The force that is against us will throw so many discouraging paths and mind benders, so always jeep your eyes on the one true source. Our creator will always show you the right path.

Tell me, how old are you? What are you by profession? Are you married with children?
What you're saying is easier said than done. Could this be a phase you're going through?
Maybe you have not yet reached as high as you had expected, your struggles have been
more or less in vain, and consequently, feeling let down, you are looking for a way out?
If this should be the case, the rat race is where you belong. You need to keep focused,
be strong & persistent, brave, single-minded, and carry on until you get there.
Living off the grid is only for a handful of a handful of men. What makes you think you're
one of them?
Can you live, thrive, or even just survive, without bank accounts and credit cards? without
television and without that small stupid gadget that no zombie in the world can ever let go
of? not for 1 minute, not even in the loo / shower!
Are you going to drive a car without a licence?
Can you avoid paying taxes?
Are you never going to buy things in installments or take a loan?
How much mobility, both intra-nation and across international borders, can you have without
using your legal fiction, which belongs to the government and their enforcing thugs?
Every square inch of land belongs to the bankers. How are you going to get around that fact?
I love Dave Murphy and am so down with everything he says except when it comes to Jesus and the New Testament. I pray God will open his spiritual eyes in this matter.

I mean, most human minds, you'd agree, are not up to thinking their own thoughts ... they parrot whatever was put
into their heads in the first 10 or so years of their lives (through films, TV, schooling, video games, asf), and now
they believe what's in their heads to be their own ideas.
That's how most of us become Christians, isn't it.
So, that right there is no help at all.
It's when one turns to other sources for knowledge that one might actually arrive at factual truths.
Logic and Philosophy are two such sources.
The historical record, to the extent that it can be trusted, is another. Ditto, personal testimonies.
Above all, your own personal experience.
True believers have at their disposal 10 or more actual proofs that the non-existence of God is a logical fallacy.
Atheists, on the other hand, are quick to shout out at the top of their lungs that "there is no God", yet not one
of them can prove this alleged non-existence of God.
The likes of Dawkins and Hitchens don't get any further ... they're bitter men with messed-up lives, which they
secretly or subconsciously must be blaming on God. Hence their anger.
Never trust a bitter person!
But then, when it comes to Christ, can you give some guarantee that Christ was indeed a historical figure
as we've been told, and that He is God?
Man, i'm so confused ... the Trinitry? What on Earth is that?
Many people who profess to believe in Christ do not really believe in Him; they're mere followers, unthinking
cattle, as it were ... had they been born in Thailand, they'd be worshiping trees with just as much zeal! (or lack thereof).
So, what irrefutable evidence do we have of Christ Jesus?
Can the plan of salvation be carried out without such a Figure?
You see, my main problem is this: the powers that be, specifically the so-called Jews, have altered virtually all
of the historical records: historical accounts have been vanished from public access, old books dealing with the
Jews have been altered; the Scriptures themselves have been twisted by the wily "Jews" ever since they got hold
of them fresh from Paul's hands. It was the "Jews" who burnt the Library at Alexandria in order to destroy the records
of their evil deeds; it was the "Jews", not Emperor Nero, who set Rome ablaze with the same purpose.
So David's injunction does raise a red flag ... when he claims our New Testament is a fraud, i feel inclined to
reply: "and so is the Old Testament, for the Jews have had thousands of years to twist it enough to suit their
own ends".
Catholicism is but an extension of Talmudism (= Pharisaism, Judaism), with all of its pagan signs (halos,
crosses, fish, host, sun, blessed water, etc), pagan festivities (Christmas, Lent, Easter, Assumption), and
worshiping of statues, the dead, the sun and even of Satan himself.
In turn, Judaism adopted such practices, including human sacrifices, from Babylon, and put them down in
writing in their Talmud, their sacred book.
As if this were not enough, most Protestant Churches bow their knee to the Catholic Church, incorporating
their false teachings into their own practices.
If even in simple online forums, moderators will suppress comments they dislike, how much more can the
lords and masters of the Earth do in order to hide and pervert existing evidence that poses a threat to their
supremacy?
Both the OT & the NT have been thoroughly altered and twisted ... with heaps of stuff taken away, and new
stuff added on to them.
Don't forget Emperor Constantine's own hand at this, along with 4th century popery's.
David is positively intelligent. He even keeps the Sabbath, which is more than most people do.
This is why i take heed.
Dave dropping nuggets about the true identity of the Israelites and it completely went over the people heads because they're stuck on his comments about the NT possibly being manufactured

i disagree regarding jesus. not saying i KNOW. but i think jesus existed as is. and the kjv bible: i think its logical. considering that there IS a creator GOD. to inspire message and story to all persons?
Yes Jesus existed and he also resurrected and is alive today. Jesus Christ will soon return to judge the living and the dead.
if you study where religion comes from and how many people have the same exact story of jesus but are thousand years older you will see clearly that there is no historical record of Jesus.. he only exist in the bible not in factual evidence

Thanks for having this gentleman on. I appreciate your humility. It's not often you will find people willing to be open minded enough to learn from others, who may have a different perspective then the largely accepted belief. The only way to move beyond the current paradigm is allowing one's beliefs to be challenged. Amazing things happen when this occurs. It's almost like watching the Twin Towers, comprised of concrete and steel turn to dust in mid-air and refusing to accept the idea that this anomaly defies science and physics. And one's own common sense.

I agree with most of this conversation. However I could not believe that he wrote off the new testament so easily. I find that they go together so well! I definitely see Jesus in both covenants. Prophecy can only be even slightly understood, especially in Daniel , if you have both. He needs to do research on the historical Jesus. He is mentioned by historians like Josephus and others from that era. He definitely existed was executed and was a leader of a Jewish sect, Josephus says. People actually went to their deaths for his testimony. You don't do that for a lie. 11 of the apostles were killed and because of these martyrs and others later on, Christianity spread. These people went to their deaths with impressive calm. This attracted many followers. I pray he looks into this more. He seems to be suspicious of the new testament because it sounds written to conform to old testament prophecy, well maybe it conforms because it's true? Remember people died for the knowledge of a real resurrection. I don't believe they would be so stupid to die for a fake.
Also Matthew 1 establishes the Genealogy of Christ to show the fulfillment of the old testament prophecy found in various books of the old testament including Isaiah.

Jesus is the most high! You can only know for sure that Jesus is the Messiah when He actually reveals himself to you through revelation. Jesus exists and the New Testament is true. He died and rose again. Repent and believe the gospel.

To gain more insight from the video. Look up the origins of the gospels. You will find out that they were anonymously written. In additional its documented that James, jude, John were written by catholic bishops.
Dave doesn't get it! The New Testament has got to be different (the "Lost" comparison) because the recipients of the Old Testament rejected the Creator. He then turned to the Gentiles!

There are TONS of resources - of Rob Skiba and MANY others - regarding this. Other people to investigate on the topic (and MANY others) might be Steve Quayle, Tom Horn, Tim Alberino. Then there are those related (at least in MY mind) with the whole UA-cam channel NowYouSeeTv, namely David Carrico, Zen Garcia, etc. The question you REALLY need to ask is... how far down this "rabbit hole" do you wanna go? :-) This whole topic is absolutely FASCINATING to me. Matthew 17 makes it clear that Jesus DID say we should keep the commandments. I would caution Dave and his followers to refrain from seeing Jesus the way religion characterizes him. The Bible is clear about Jesus, Paul, and other in the New Testament; they observed the Law. And if Dave discounts the NT, he discounts Revelation, which in several verses (including 22:4) warns against breaking the commandments.

The first 5 books of the Bible were dictated to Moshe (Moses) pictograph by pictograph. Since Moses was schooled into hieroglyphs he would have been familiar enough with the concept to record the images as they were said. This is why there are no spaces between the images. It was after the books were finished that Yehuwah (God) explained what those symbols meant and how they formed words to create the Hebrew written language. The fancy block letters of recognized Hebrew evolved at a much later time.

The things in the OT are SHADOWS of Jesus. That means, while there was a literal interpretation -- it alluded to a fulfillment in Christ. "You search the scriptures because you think in them you find life -- these are they which speak of ME! " Jn 5:39
I've read the bible about 4 times. I already know about those verses.
Show me one 'shadow of Jesus' in the Old Testament, there aren't any just misapplied isolated verses taken out of context.
The very first one. Adam and Eve. The marriage between a man and a woman.
Gen 2:20 And the man gave names to all cattle and to the birds of heaven and to every animal of the field, but for Adam there was not found a helper as his counterpart.
2:21 And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place.
2:22 And Jehovah God built the rib, which He had taken from the man, into a woman and brought her to the man.
2:23 And the man said, This time this is bone of my bones / And flesh of my flesh; / This one shall be called Woman / Because out of Man this one was taken.
Adam's sleeping = Christ death on the cross.
Eve = the bride, the wife, the Church (Eph 5).

The love between God and man is the central thought of the bible. It is not keeping the Law or doing something for God. It is all about Love.
Marriage between male and female is sacred and precious to God because it is God's desire to be one with Man.
That is why we are made in the image of God and are born of God for He would not marry other kind.

What books do I read to learn the legalese and freeman language.
Disappointed that Dave hasn’t done the proper research on the New Testament. From his comments, his stance is that of an amateur. I hope and pray that it’s God’s will that he will dedicate the time and research to learning about the origins of Christianity. He’s way off on that and I’d love to speak with him and get a clearer understanding of his outlook and present real scholarly research to show him the errors in the OT only belief. Peace and thanks. The story of a physical Jesus has only served to distract us from the truth of us all being able to raise the Chrism within by observing the monthly Sacred Secretion (when the moon moves into our birth sign - oh but astrology is evil right? Convenient, especially as the church founding fathers seem to cover themselves in such symbolism (see vatican architecture; pope's staff etc.) whilst they call it evil) and is severed by riotous living (specifically acid will severe this most fragile of secretions said by the ancients to have a a consistency of 'milk and honey' coming from and returning to the pineal gland (should the subject practice discipline during this time) - - remember Jacob telling us all he saw God 'face to face' and he calls that place Pineal?...). Jesus himself said to the masses who awaited him at Jerusalem - 'who are you all waiting for? you can all do works greater than I'. Jesus worship is usually (but not always! !) synonymous with the surrendering of responsibility to the world around us ('no worries, this Jesus character is gonna come back and save us so meanwhile we should go to church and not cause too much of a fuss) - if we all knew and observed the anatomy of prayer (given to us in the bible in the accepted mystical language of old - of allegories - of 'dark sayings') with pure intentions (because this can also be used for evil - see the vatican) then we would realize our own Christ within and begin the works we came to this planet to realize.

Blue Toe - I watched and listened to every last bit and found it very interesting as I have all of Daves videos. Can I ask you, do you think Dave is right about absolutely everything? If my argument was so ridiculous, could you not have even taken at least one singular point and proven it wrong to abide by Daves theory? I make the case that the new testament has some incredible things to teach humanity but that doesn't mean I'm angling for the churches interpretation. I don't remember him 'blowing it out the water' - simply making a statement (which I'd totally agree with if I agreed with his original premise but I don't and this is a result of listening to all sides of the argument rather than blindly following one of them...nudge nudge) doesn't prove anything and you should be willing to do some research before you start ridiculing anyone or anything. If you had in this case you might have seen that knowledge of the sacred secretion is not some new age concept or some old deception by the church.

This man does not understand the reason Jesus had to die for our sins. What he doesn't understand is that the ten commandments are a guide to God's expectations for us. When God says thou shall not kill it means that of course but Jesus is explaining that in God's eyes you murder if you hate also. Thou shall not commit adultery. Ok but in God's eyes adultery in your mind is bad also. Jesus was explaining WHY he had to come and sacrifice himself for our sins. Because we are simply not able to be saved otherwise . Dave you can follow all the commandments written in that stone in the flesh but not in spirit and you know it! Ever have a naughty fantasy? Ever try to love someone you can't stand? Were you ever rebellious to your parents as a teenager? Most of us would never kill or steal or even commit adultery, even if we are tempted. But being even tempted is a sin. You need to believe and have faith in your savior Jesus. The holy spirit helps our hearts with these spiritual sins. We need to pray and have faith when these bad thoughts assail us. I personally have never felt the desire to kill or to steal, have never committed adultery in the flesh, in my mind, well..... let's just say I've prayed about it and got the help I needed and have been forgiven for these thoughts. Have been envious? Yes. That's gone too. You really do need to be forgiven for these types of sins in God's eyes. Jesus is the only way!
