Guilherme to West Ham back on following a day of drama for Tim Steidten

- The West Ham board have come out fighting in defence of Tim Steidten following reports there were close to sacking him. This followed earlier news that the transfer for Brazil wonderkid Luis Guilherme had broken down due to owner David Sullivan undermining Steidten which has also been robustly denied by the club.

The club really need to keep any transfer targets as secret as possible so we are not "scouting " for other teams.
Unfortunately, even if the club keep things secret, a player's agent will usually leak things in order to attract better offers.
Some times it's the players side that put it out there.
Fucking Agents trying to drive price up
Agents would leak it anyway + Unlikely that top teams are unaware of him tbf
Spot on
I think some of Bowen's England team mates, they forgot he was there!
Gonzo, you do the hard work to keep us all updated on things West Ham. Well done fella.
The fastest player I ever saw was Razor running to the pub ! 😂
Konsa got in Bowens way 3 times last night ..
Agree, in first half Bowen,Konsa and Cole Palmer were all competing for same space - much better second half when Bowen had more space and could come inside closer to Kane. Gulf in class between Kane and Watkins.
Not only that but the fucker could not stop passing backwards, no desire to get it forward to Bowen at all. Decent player Konsa but he was driving me up the wall last night
thank you for a sensible video, it's getting harder to get sensible west ham content, throwing the club under the bus for engagement is utterly pathetic and should not be supported by fans
Bowen was excellent for England. In the second half, he produced chance after chance and was extremely unlucky when the ball was blocked from crossing the line by Konsa. He had a fantastic game.
I'm already sick of the transfer window and it hasn't even opened yet.
This Tim Steidten vs Sullivan stuff is worse than an episode of Dance Mums. Are you sure there isn't a Netflix film crew following them around making a fly on the wall docu-drama?
One source has quoted us as agreeing a fee for Guilherme as €23m up front and €7m add ons.
My understanding is you can't lose a player if the contracts have been signed and placed with the relevant authorities. This can be done before the transfer window opens and registration of the player with the FA and PL (in this case) would then take place after the window opens.
Tim and Romano clearly good friends and there's no way he would let him post the here we go/transfer update stuff about our targets if it jeopardized us being able to finish the deals.
Thanks for that balanced view. Very true, that it’s amazing we’re starting before the window! Take that all day
This is most probably the work of the media on the side Moyes, we should come to expect a lot of this negativity and ignore it. I can already hear pundits saying “ it’s what West Ham deserve after the disgraceful way David Moyes was treated. Careful what you wish for” they just can’t accept that West Ham are allowed to aim as high as they want, and have ambitions to improve. After all clubs at the top don’t stay at the top if they don’t move with the times.
Palmer was playing in bowen's position most of the first half which helped no one.
After laying off the press golden boy , Moyes , don't expect any favours from the press . If they can unsettle the club , they will , just to say "I told you so "
Can't blame Moyes now,he must be laughing now😂
Transfer window opens on Friday 14th June - just 10 days away!
'Guilherme has had his head turned by the Saudi money' has the distinct whiff of 'conclude this ASAP or we'll borrow a player from PSG'...
I hope we get to see him play, don’t want him to be loaned out straight away
This is what negotiations preparing speculation looks like; combined, it's not pretty changing to new ways of working simultaneously. I can assure you that it's the same in the corporate world when bidding for work but less pronounced.
This is uncharted territory for West Ham, having a Director of Football or whatever Tim’s title is, and doing business this early.
There’s bound to be hiccups along the way, I’d much prefer cards were played closer to everyone’s chest, but the signs are good and the signs are positive compared to all previous seasons COYIS ⚒️⚒️⚒️
Fabricio Bruno's club have said that he is staying where he is; not going to the Saudi league or anywhere else
West ham are not sacking steiden 😂
We are telling the whole world and it's dog who we are trying to sign, why can't we do our business quietly. Furthermore, Sullivan can shut all the media lies down, by coming out and making a statement and not allowing the rumours to fester.
No matter how much the club can do, the player's agents have the free will to tell everybody to get a better financial deal for the player they represent. It's unavoidable. The board can't go out in public to make a statement either because the player and his agent will question the club's motives.
I thought the speed rating in EA Sports FIFA was the ultimate authority on a player true speed.
Just when i thought we might be a normal club......
Bowen played well he was tricky lively got stuck in unlucky not to score I hope he makes the cut he wouldn’t start but boy he’d be a handful off the bench as for the transfers it’s a month before international targets can sign, lots of things crop up gazumping etc it’s how it is,
I thought he do well
Nothing is ever straightforward with West Ham. LOL, FFS just get it done if we really really want him.
The media exaggerating negative things? Well I never.
Walcott ran 100 meters in 10.6 seconds aged 16, thats quick.
ignore everyone but romano who has been working with tim for a few windows now
romano: 30m deal with 20% sell on
day later from brazilian journo: agreement done - 23m euro plus 7m in bonuses, saudi link absolutely rubbish, club never heard anything and player wouldn't go there anyway as it's the worst possible move for his development
for as long as we have tim at west ham the credible source is romano, ignore the rest of the grifters
Great video, just shows there is so much click bait out there. So don't believe nothing, gratefully for Gonzo and Geo to try their best to get rid of most the BS transfer stories.
I don't care about Bruno, get Mark Noble to try to sort out getting Jacob Greaves from Hull. I think Max Kilman too rich for our budget, as we have get a new Right Back as well as a striker and a left winger. If Paqueta was going to Man City, maybe we could of use some of that money for Kilmun.
All after the season ticket window closed
Bent said Bowens plag was erratic. Fanboy for Saka
I thought Bowen was unlucky because the full back Konsa was useless.
He only passed sideways and short pass to Bowen so that he had no room to work the full back.
A good full back woul dhave passed much earlier give him a chance to run at full back.
The last straw at the end Konsa stopped Bowens shot, denying him a goal.
Terrible full back.
Here I was, thinking Eastenders is a work of fiction..
surely Guilherme is on a few quid already relative to the cost of living in Brazil. I mean he gets paid more than most of us do per year (3k per week by the look of it). He'll surely be getting the big bucks when he moves but I doubt he is moving team to get out of poverty tbh, unless that was a joke of course!!! .. but yeah i doubt he is eating the pot noodles every night (just Tuesdays!)
This is Moyes media friends still creating havoc even when he has gone. Ignore it transfer window not open for another 10 days 🤷🏻
I did think that mate
West ham Zone are B S !
ITWT
It seems to me Moyes acolytes are stirring the pot of mischief. Just saying🤔⚒
This Saudi story apparently started on twitter, so glad I don't go on there
Q was it ever off ?
Nope. Just ppl putting out fake stories for their own agenda I suspect

Why are players we are interested in or might be, appearing in a West ham shirt. Ince still hated for that.
A move would get Bruno out of poverty, you are joking, he is on € 12,690 pw
June 24th window opens
Steinberg should of known better
I don't think it looks bad on Tim, the Saudis seem to just follow the news then have a scattergun approach, consequently agents are probably running to the news outlets the minute a premier league team shows interest, cos nevermind the players development, the agent could get life-changing commission (shameful that quite a lot have family representatives eh in that case eh?) The Brazilians themselves seem to be a pain in the arse to deal with from the outside, constantly moving goalposts etc, on top of that, Newman was out there networking for years and we got a kid who didn't even light up the academy...
Also, the press are a former shadow of themselves. They're skint, paid to do editorial advertisements etc, use ai generated stories. A lot of this sounds like the tail trying to wag the dog...
In football boots. On grass.
60yds without the ball, 30yds with it.
Add them together, shortest time wins.
EVERYONE STOP LISTENING TO THE CLICK FARMERS- this is normal transfer dealings. Don’t be a ding dong
What’s the basis for your assertion that Bruno is greedy? We didn’t make him an offer attractive enough to move and he decided to stay where he is. How is that being greedy?
Thought he played well, but as usual community not say so
The constant PR spinning from Sullivan, Steidten and Moyes over the last year has been so boring. Wish they’d all just shut up and do their jobs, we have plenty of time in the window.
U reckon I could get a tip, maybe from u know who..? #10 😉😉 maybe he could let me know which Brazilian we will sign and I could go on to BetWa....... 😂
I think they to meany West Ham fans that so happy to attack the broad at the slightest opportunity and some are UA-camrs
Is it just me or do westhams transfers/stories get thrown around by every journalist/media outlet there is? Are we that much of a reactionary fan base that they have us constantly on the ropes? Thats how it feels with supporting westham.....
We are a joke of a club
You don’t get to cherry pick young players for sod all anymore.
30m for an 18 year old wonder kid is hardly a gamble - we’re paying Danny Ings £115k a week to do fuck all
Sullivan has zero sense of a players worth or potential
He undoubtedly looked at our U18s and thought he wouldn’t pay that for one of our U18s
There’s a bit of a difference
I think alot of it is moyes in lot, just wanting Tim to fail and pushing these fake stories out there.
It’s all unsubstantiated click bait, column space nonsense.
There’s a few people who know what’s going on, that’s it.
Can’t be bothered
Thanks for some pragmatism and common sense mate.
For me, the public pant-wetting and media assaults going on over a couple of early signing attempts are far more disheartening than the signing attempts themselves.
youre so boring, you do this every year
Did you watch it Gonz. Bowen set up by Greleshh and Alexanda Arnold block Jim’s shot from going top bins 🗑️ . 🤷♂️ keep up “ Bonzo “ 😉. 🤦♂️⚒️❤️
