This album was about Adrienne's life... I feel it in the lyrics and I feel it in her aura. Such a powerful masterpiece, leading to their Magnum Opus in their whole discography!

I put them now at the highest standard, next to Epica.
This album was everything i wanted out of Spires and more! Everything from the emotion, the power, the vocals, etc. I loved it! If i had to pick a top three it would probably be:
1: Architect of Creation
2: Songs upon Wine stained Tounges
3: Almosttown
But let me tell you. Picking a top three was INCREDIBLY difficult. I have a feeling that with more and more listens, Love’s Souvenirs and Emerald Necklace might creep their way up there.

There is a lot to like about this album. With power metal, I prefer all clean vocals.
I know I wasn't saying anything during the stream but gotta be brutally honest for once, I can only give this 7/10 unfortunately. It's still above Emerald Seas along with Solveig, but still doesn't beat Gods of Debauchery for me... My main complaint is the production choice they went for this album, and this comes from someone who normally doesn't mind about production that much. Adrienne could've saved it, but the mixing failed to deliver enough power to accompany with her voice, especially for a heavy band like them. I had another album this year with similar issue, but this one bugs me more somehow. Controversial I know lol, but even Ignea grew on me so this will probably take some time for me.
