Thanks for the update Marcus, Lol - I guess he must have made a real impression on her bc I remember Zhao Lusi mentioned a few years ago that among her male co-stars, Zheng Yecheng is the best kisser!!! He is one of the most underrated Chinese actors out there. He is so handsome and his fight scenes are really phenomenal - I would watch Brocade Odyssey just for those two reasons alone! He even represented China's martial arts demonstration at Paris Olympics this year. I can't believe no one has signed him up yet for a good, old fashioned wuxia. This actor deserves a lot more love than he gets.
I hope Zheng Yecheng and Zhao Lusi can have a modern drama. They are both comfortable to each other. For me, he is one of the handsome face I saw among Chinese actors, I love looking to his face in their drama with Zhao Lusi. Happy to know that until now, they have a good relationship ❤
Watching "Brocade Odyssey" and I'm really loving the character, Yang Jing Lan. He's got these facial expressions that are very seductive. I'm only on Ep 8, so I was happy to hear about the upcoming marriage and his appreciation of his friend Zhao Lusi is nice. "Blossom" will be next but I'm still watching "Deep Lurk". And can't wait for "Zang Hai Zhuan" and "Deep Eyes". Thanks Marcus.

I like revenge dramas that are done well and this one looks promising. XZ is getting better and better, acting wise. Zheng Ye Cheng is another favorite actor of mine. Underrated and so talented. His martial arts action scenes are amazing and they aren't any slow-mo CGI stuff. He's the real deal, having been trained. I remember watching him in a competition judged by Jackie Chan and the latter constantly praised him for his training and martial arts prowess. I'm glad he and LuSi are such great friends supporting each other. I'd love to see them collaborate again. I loved their fun-couple chemistry. Oh, one last thing (ETA): Those Riverside MLs, especially Ryan Ding, need to get their hair styled less modern LOL. Use some Brylcream, forgassakes! Heh December is full of drama rewards! Blossom is a sleeper hit for 2024. I just finished episode 17 and it has left me wanting more. No implosion as yet, which is fantastic as so many Cdramas fall apart halfway through. I just finished Married which was very good as well. My next drama is Brocade Odyssey and I’m hoping I won’t be disappointed because I like the lead couple. Marcus have you checked out the Korean drama When The Phone Rings??? Oh my goodness! It’s so good. The show had a hiatus last week but will continue this week. Check it out. Hi 👋. Totally called that riverside thing lol; they’ve been promoting it for like a wk or more on Weibo, but guess they had to wait for CCTV to announce a drop date. It looks really interesting. It’ll be the fourth drama for me but hopefully next week one of the ones I’m watching will end lol. As you know, I can only do 3 at a time before i get 😵💫. Also saw the booting ceremony of something without an English title starring Wang Yang that looks like a legal modern drama, I added that and south bureau to my watchlist. The trailer for ZHZ looks mysterious and cool; I’m glad they’ve finished post production and look forward to it next year; saw somewhere it too (like XZ’s movie) may drop on their lunar new year. It is already officially anounced that XZ's movie legend of condor heroes will air on 29 January, 2025 which is first day of chinese new year. Offline promotion for the movie already started on various movie theatre. The trailer for the movie will come soon too.

I’m really enjoying Blossom! It’s so much better than the Story of Pearl Girl. I had looked forward to it for a long time but it was so disappointing. I love the actors but the story was not up to their potential.
