Brushless motor: AEO MF1306 2700KV (11g)
Propeller: 6030
Receiver: FlySky FS2A 4CH (2g)
ESC: VGood 6A (6g)
Servos: EMAX ES9051 (5g) x 2
LiPo battery: 600mah 7.4V (39g)

This lightweight RC motor glider is very easy to fly for beginners (in calm weather or indoor)

Great plane, I love it because it flies very slow .. It gives me more time to react as a newbee pilot . I definately will build this one

It looks like you are using some flooring tile as a cutting board which looks great, but the material will instantly dull the tip of a knife. It has particles in the synthetic material that prevent it from getting worn out that wear metal down like sandpaper.

Don't seem to have 3mm XPS (the orange foam) underlay in sheets here in California, all I can find is rolls of XPS and looks too flexible. Any suggestions? The Depron is the white foam? Could I use 3mm Depron for the thin parts and 6mm Depron for the thick ones?
Buy the foam from flite test.
@@comfort_in_discomfort they have the white 5mm (3/16th) foam, white 8.5mm but I don't see any of the 3mm. They have something called "Water Resistant by Adams" but nowhere I can see do they say how thick and it looks a lot stiffer and heavier than 3mm XPS. Is that 3mm? Odd they don't list its thickness or weight.
@@ljnrf True. The flute test foam is 5mm with a waterproof paper on both sides. Stiff, but not lightweight.

Yes, you can use the Depron, an extruded styrofoam around 20kg/m3 or any similar styrofoam (extruded with small bubbles). You have also the EPP sheets used in aeromodelism like the Graupner Vectro which is even better than the Depron (easier to fold, and far stronger to dents).
I really enjoy your content. With that being said I want to know if you take suggestions.. I would enjoy see you make a delta wing foam board plane with an EDC or I dunno. Not as the flite test kraken, more like the mirage or the f104 delta dart. That's my request😇 thx for reading

They're all over the place both on eBay and Amazon. I make almost all of my purchases on eBay.
joe woodchuck Do you also find the foam he uses there? If so, what do you search for? The only foam I can find like that is at Home Depot or Lowe’s and it is like $60 or $70 bucks for 100sqft
@@Raycefan I'm not familiar with every type of foam material, but he does mention "other aeromodeling foam" which as far as I've known has been Dollar Tree foam board. You can get it elsewhere too but always at a higher price. If you don't have a Dollar Tree close enough then get it at Walmart. It bends and cuts very nicely.

Hi I have the plane finished but have a question. With the point of gravity correctly ( slightly nose heavy?) I tried to handthrow as a glider but it stalls and after that crashes nose down. Do you have a suggestion?
it can't fly like a glider, airfoil drag is too high

Well, this sucks. I cannot find 3mm XPS for less than about $60USD, because they only sell it in packs of 100sqft.

I downloaded the plans. But when I printed them some printed in different sizes ?
Any help with the printer settings would be great because I really like the idea of a slow flyer.

@@NumaVIG I did that but some are like 260× 860 and some are like 480× 600. Those aren't the actual numbers but that is what I mean...I did print them all the same and they came out different.
it's a ISO 216 is an international standard for paper sizes. You need to print only A3 or only A4, not all together, look at the names of .jpeg files

Can't the wings still be cut with hot wire without knowing the airfoil type? Just make cutting templates from the plans.
@@joewoodchuck3824 i want to engrave airfoil with cnc . And your photos are dificult to load on my machine. So I just asked for airfoil type so I can find it on Vector lines
@@demotulation My response was based upon the original request for hot wire cutting. I have no idea how to make it work for the new request for CNC. This isn't my video. I'm just a viewer like you. There are airfoil types documented on the web. You'll have to hunt them down.

look for polystyrene glue in stores... it must be there
I am not absolutely certain but I think wood white bond works for most of foams, though it is heavier. Epoxy should too, same weight question and less flexibility. I think this is a bit the spirit of this channel to use available material, adapt, try and experiment....
I personally wonder about the glue used for hinges, do you know which type ?
By the way did you notice a particular plastic used for hinges or any good book cover would do ok ?
