This game really impressed me at the time, even though it is excessively cinematic in my opinion, it is still a very polished product compared to many recent releases. Triple A games these days, seem to be made without the slightest bit of love sometimes.

This game was the first in my collector's edition collection. This game was so underrated and hated on for some of the dumbest reasons. Good animation and dynamics, great storyline and the artbook for this game showed how amazing the artists are. I hope they make another one.
This was during the PlayStation hate days. I remember the attention to detail the developers created with this game. It was ahead of its time. I believe people were paid to hate on PlayStation games at the time because it didn’t make any sense. Heavenly Sword got the same treatment. This game can hold up to games these days.
The problem with that game is that after hours worth of cut scenes it didn't even progress the story that much which was extremely frustrating. That's a crime with how little actual gameplay there was. It felt like it was in a good path but it got boring quickly
I think those massive shotouts are somehow killing the mood. Some more sneeking and investigating through victorian London would make a better climate.
I saw this and at first glance I thought it was a new installment in the series. I got pumped and saw my mistake. This game is still next level for sure.
It didn't sell enough to get a sequel, and with how short the game is it wasn't worth the price, considering it still has a high price for a almost 10 year old game, it's a waste of money to get this game

@ghost656metal8 actually it still would've looked good because the multiplayer would be either outsourced or done by an in house team dedicated to multiplayer, in other words, if this game had more developers, the development team would be able to spare some developers to making a multiplayer mode.

This game woulda been great if you actually got to play in the world half the time but it’s like a giant TelleTale game but the world is so good it’s set in a 1800s Victorian Jack the ripper era and your like these marshals and there is where wolves and shit the game was gonna be a banger until it was just a movie
If you watch all the cut scenes it could take about 5 hours, if you skip all of the cut scenes there's about 1 hour worth of gameplay if you ignore the collectables

Or just google how to run the game at 60fps for better instructions than the one i gave you. But its easy, and possible, just tedious
