Thank you for the recommendations 👍. For now I tend to lean towards short books. I always is more nervous about reading long books/it feels like a bigger commitment.
For MANY years I've only been reading long series (and non-fiction). This year I decided I wanted to read more stand-alones, and I've been actively focusing on shorter books. Though I still love the long books that build huge worlds, at the moment I am finding shorter books with a quicker paced story more enjoyable :-) What about you?
