Worked with Jamie at Burnley FC, great great fella, I loved these stories when we were coaching in schools together. Top man taught me a lot! Great episode.
Brilliant what a character, number 1 guest, i didn't think anyone could top Mark Crossley and Steve Howie but Jamie Hoyland i salute you. Great episodes , love the podcast
Great to hear his early years at City, fantastic to hear the old ways and Tony Book a legend. Another of the wonderful youth player's from that era great to listen to, Simpson, Beresford etc..
Brilliant,,can't wait for part two! I never watch or listen to anything about today's game, I much prefer how things were in 70s, 80, 90s and early 2000s when players had real personalities and life was so much more fun
I was a proper fan in the era that Jamie is reminiscing about at Sheffield United. Everyone was much more down to earth, saw Billy on the train after a match with a can in his hand on the train and saw Vinnie in the bar at Plough Lane after the game - you wouldn’t have messed with either of them. 30 years ago but as he said it seems like yesterday. ❤️
Great one look forward to part two! Played for us clarets did Jamie always put a shift in.Some real tales and you can listen to him all day.sound fella also 👍🏼
Cracking episode,as a blade and in that era,so funny to listen to the stories, top bloke and was there when he handled, scored against Man Utd at Bramall Lane
I remember Jamie Hoyland when he played for the blades, not the best player in the world but he was hard as fuck and always gave 100percent.Propper bloke.Gutted when he went to Burnley and if I remember rightly he scored against us at Turf Moor.Great video lads.Isn’t it funny when you talk about the hard men,Vinny,Billy W,Hoyland, all been with Sheffield United.⚔️⚔️⚔️There’s no hard men in today’s game just professional athletes 🤣🤣
That was such a good episode. Jamie tells a brilliant tale & what a nice lad too. I/we would LOVE to have Billy Whitehurst on. Can you picture the two Chris' & Parky' body language in his company ?? Undr the cosh is just so magic 👍👍👍
This a top top episode, what a funny fella Jamie is with his stories. Looking at him if they were to do a remake of the movie Kes he could take Brian Glover's part, looks like him.

Had Jamie Hoyland as my 18s coach for a while at Sheff United, top man and blade and loved listening to this one, can't wait for part 2.

Superb episode, some of the 80s and early 90s ones are the bloody best stories.
