I was watching this video last night As well as your mitotic index video and I just wanted to say a massive thank you ! I would not have been able to answer some of the exam questions that came up today without them ( and all your other wonderfully helpful videos too! )
@@beecheffects4694 ong. I had a grin in my face when that question came up. It’s like the stars were aligned for me not just for that question but honestly for the whole paper. Would you say the paper was unusually easy?
Honestly a life saver. An uncertainty question came up in the Aqa alevel paper 1 today and it was exactly like what you taught in the video. Thank you for the free 2 marks😊
hi miss, could you pls update your required practicals playlist so that they are in order?? also there are some videos as well in that playlist that are not related. TYSM :) xx
thanks you could you also make a video on the different exam key words like suggest and evaluate and describe because sometimes I struggle to understand what the question is asking me
There was a question about uncertainty in paper 1 it goes like: A ruler with 1 mm as smallest graduation mark is used to measure something, and then it says what would be the percentage uncertainty to measure a 4mm reading. Something like that, I got like 25 percent as my answer. Does anyone get the same answer?
in chemistry we learn it a different way and much easier way but essentially the same principle. so essentially if if you are taking one reading or as miss estruch said one judgement you do the smallest incriment divided by two= uncertainty for that equipment , if your taking 2 readings/2 judgements you do (the smallest incriment divided by 2) x2, which is just doubling the uncertainty
Wish i saw this before the exam 😢
Honestly

I'm so glad! So pleased I uploaded this just in time!
This helped me in today's paper!! THANK GOD I WATCHED THIS AT 11AM
You needed to use the idea of the two judgements in using a ruler!!

I know!!! Great timing
this litterally just saved my life in bio paper 1 today!!! thank you smmm
ahh was there about uncertainty question??
@@MissEstruchBiologyyeah for 2 marks

i got same
Let’s go brotha😊
i got that as well
😎
At 10.01, working out uncertainty with only value.. why do you not divide the 10mg by 2 or divide the 1mg by 2 like the rest of the calculations?
Omg i was thinking that too, you would right ?
Thats what I'm wondering
1mg by 2
@@christinaxcx what did you get for the paper 1 question on uncertainty yesterday?
you're actually such an icon
☺️☺️ aw thanks
What happens when you need to convert an uncertainty from mm to micrometers? (this example is in question 2019 paper)
if measuring temperature change would that be two judgements as need to take measurement before and after?
one judgement but there is uncertainty on both measurements you take
I’m loving the eras tour T-shirt 😂❤
❤️ love Taylor
@@MissEstruchBiologyomg ur a swiftie!!! ur the best🥰
do you do predictions for the papers?
She didn’t make one I don’t think but I know someone who did do you want a link?
Are only practicals 1 to 6 on paper 1, or can the others come up?
1 to 6 req pracs only
Ty!
you're welcome!!!
thank you!
You're welcome!
This was useful 😂
did it come up??
@@MissEstruchBiologyyeah it did, this video saved me. Thank you 🙏 😆
Isn't uncertainty half the smallest possible unit you can measure. so you have to divide it by two?
when taking a reading, yes. But for a measurement it isn't
@@MissEstruchBiology ok got it, thanks a lot. 😊

I hope it helps 😊😊
did everyone get +/- 1mm and 25% uncertainty?
That's what I keep seeing online
Yesss swiftieee🫶 are you gonna go to the eras tour?
Still trying to get a ticket!!!
