I think the speedrun gives modded minecraft a very fresh new idea that ive never seen before and id really like to see you finish it. Of course i like gameplay style too, just this speaks a bit more to me atm

I have the attention span of a seagull & the speedrun format is all I can digest but- this is real nice, you're very thorough in explaining your cool tricks, hilarious cheeses, and as a fellow sophisticated backpacks enjoyer I can't wait to see your backpack chicanery escalate. Like the EXP tank module.
Tip for slimeballs besides slime gates: Go to the twilight forest, find one of the big mineral mountain things, and look for one of the slime bug thing spawners. Easy to grab and as far as I can tell they don't have the same spawner limits as normal slimes.
I like that the fact that even though you go through things fast, you still briefly explain things enough so that we could do the same in our own worlds.

When I am trying to learn how to do something, I obviously like the tutorial style videos. But I still like this format. I guess doing a combination of Speedrun style and doing separate videos on specific subjects / builds / mods is my dream world. I binge Speedruns while I work but watch and pause tutorial videos so I can work alongside. Hopefully this makes sense. I got 2 braincells left after working today and they are both in the fetal position in a corner of my brain begging for it to stop.
I also end up with 2 brain cells after a long day lol I have tried doing things in Satisfactory and pausing is absolutely the best. I make these styles of videos so that it's ACTION! but couple it with some tutorials on the side to help others learn how to do it!
For this 100 days bit, the quick action just leaves me wanting more, like junk food. The slow ones are good when you got plenty of time to sit down and enjoy, but you only got 100 days to live. Best speed up and break it down~
That weird power thing that happened to you also happened to me on my ATM8 playthrough but it happened after I had to reinstall the pack because it was crashing on startup
OMG 😂 the inventory sorting is one of my favorite things to do! Call me crazy (crazy), but it's honestly one of the only reasons I go looting those dungeons. Also question... is it normal for LUCK on your gear to give you nothing special for DAYS and then WHAM! Chest with 19 globes??? LOL
I like these recap videos more because I don't need to dedicate large chunks of time to watching them. I'm less likely to get around to watching or finishing a video that's upwards of 30 minutes long, and that makes me fall off of watching the series as a whole. And with a modpack as big as ATM 8, this makes it much easier to learn about every single mod in the pack instead of just getting looks into the biggest mods. Longer videos are good for diving into specific mods I want to learn about in detail, but the short videos are good for introducing mods that I didn't even know existed or what they did.
in the functional storage mod you can right click the storage contoller with locking tool it will lock all of them in one click. after you assigned all of the drawer.

FYI I found out on the functional storage if you haven't attached refined storage, AE2, or and ender chest, essentially no inputs, you can first link all the drawers to the controller then use the configuration tool on the controller itself to lock all the drawers at once
I like the fast progression, its different from other modded let's-plays. but I also like long form videos sometimes. I think you should do more fast videos but keep doing the longer playthrough videos. I think doing both is good in any way that works for you

Isn't the classic speedrun format something like uncut gameplay? To me this seems more like the 'i survived 100 days in...' with a time limit/pack completion goal twist to it. It's fun to watch nonetheless and i really liked seeing your progression timeline like this with the timestamps.
Yes, the classic speedrun is more of uncut gameplay. I have done this for ATM8 and you can find the vod on my Twitch channel. however, it makes for poor content for YT so I wanted to do something more like this!
I'm mostly into let's play style videos with more explaining and a much calmer pace, but then again this series has got me hooked. I think I'll have to answer both. Both styles of videos are great! At least your take on it. I'm still not a big fan of 100 days content from other creators.
I like either style, feels like the play through style might be easier to manage and give you more episodes to put out. These feel like they edit down a week into 20 minutes. maybe best of both worlds? Do play style videos and as you go note down timestamps of interesting events. Then every 10 episodes post a recap high speed type video
The slower paced videos are better coz it fills up more time and it also helps with tips and pointers for certain mods that i can use for my own sp save
And what not both? If you feel like to do a speedrun type video then you do it and if you want to do a casual sorta tutorial video then you work on it, look like a good idea.
No i like fast and well thought out content very much, slow "Let's Play" type content is something some don't have time for (work, family, ..) and quick witted humor is just more my type of humor. Also some people watch ATM/modded minecraft videos on youtube to learn small tips and tricks and it is easier to learn them from a edited type of format rather then from 50min lets plays@@AlfredGGMC
I've been playing a lot of atm8 thanks to this series but weirdly I can't seem to find any hostile mobs from ars or the creeper overhaul mod. Any fixes?

honestly I wouldn't mind VOD's for gameplay (this speedrun series probably wouldn't work for this) but stream it on twitch/YT then post vods to this or a second channel with the normal videos still going out its minimal work (excluding the streaming part / upload time)

@@AlfredGGMC i just go to swamps and if there are no slimes i just go far enough for the mobs to despawn then come back, usually works in 2-3 tries. But i understand the chest thing, you have insane luck in chests, i got a op magic book in my first chest, after that almost nothing usefull.. but it seems like you allways get good loot

I think the slowed paced videos are better because it makes it easier to understand the moss i haven't played with yet.

Instead of the drawers, you could use a backpack, or an upgraded chest with stack upgrades, it takes less space and i think drawers are a little laggy

Remember that you can lock all drawers at once by using the locking tool on a controller which are linked to drawers.

I think the new update for Ars made it a little harder to find them. As for the creeper overhaul stuff, head to a cave and it should spawn!

I've never had good luck finding slimes in a swamp lol I also have that "Oh man, just one more chest" problem XD
