Nice Video! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Dinanlinson Rebooting Health Approach (do a google search)? It is a great one of a kind product for getting rid of chronic fatigue syndrome minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.
This should be a tv production. A documentary or something

- she decided to become a professional scuba diving instructor for some strange reason! (Because she enjoyed it)
- surprise surprise... she couldn't keep up with the physical demands

Thanks Raelan....yes we habe to learn not to bite off more than what we can chew. I've had many part time jobs that were just so unsuitable for me that didn't help my health recovery at all. I've kept aquarium fish for years (not salt water) I live near the beach and go snorkeling in summer. Its still nice in the water here in Australia as its about to go into Autumn.
Hi Michelle! Yes, it's such an important lesson, but I also find it's one of the hardest to learn, isn't it? Despite this illness, I don't think any of us ever stop wanting to fully participate in life. It can be frustrating! But wow, how incredible it must be to live by the beach and get to go snorkeling so often and easily! It's just so calming being underwater with the fish, isn't it?! And I'm glad the weather there is holding up! 💛
This is part of cfs Mickel Therapy - finding things in life to bring us joy . I really need to do this altho it seems impossible when u spend so much time in bed.

Thank you...know that I am listening to every word to try to move forward...instead of one step forward and three back all the time. How did you cope mentally with it all ? Might be useful in these stressful days to employ tried and tested coping strategies.
I just love your commitment to all of this, Dorothy! Very admirable. And unfortunately how true about coping strategies being needed now more than ever.
For stress while recovering from ME/CFS I did quite a bit - I started my day with reading inspirational quotes and book passages that kept me on track, laughed as much as I could (bring on the funny TV shows!), kept an ongoing gratitude list and success list (a visible list in my home that showed all the progress I made), meditation, journaling, counseling, didn't read too much about ME/CFS (most of it is quite discouraging I find), kept away from depressing social media, had a good cry every once in a while (bring on the tear-jerkers!), and so on. If you have any suggestions for this I'd love to hear them as well. We can all use all the help we can get!
Loved your video. I have a question, did you do any "emotional/psychological or brain retraining" type of work during your recovery? I remember you were journaling but just wondering if you did anything else. Thanks
Great to hear, Daniel! Although I didn't do any official brain retraining protocols, I definitely did a ton of work on my emotional & mental health. As I mentioned to Dorothy above, in addition to journaling I also got professional counseling (this was a game changer for me) and put things in place in my daily routine to help relieve stress and keep my focus positive and motivation up. I started my day with reading inspirational quotes and book passages that I had organized into digital folders (one for each day that I kept on my phone) that kept me on track, laughed as much as I could (funny TV shows), kept an ongoing gratitude list and success list (a visible list in my home that showed all the progress I made as well as a gratitude journal), meditation (guided meditation and solo), didn't read too much about ME/CFS (most of it is quite discouraging I find), kept away from depressing social media (and people), had a good cry every once in a while (bring on the tear-jerkers!), and so on. Is there anything you've come across that's been especially helpful?
@@RaelanAgle thanks for the reply! I did the lightning process and OHC 90 day program which they all helped to kind of stabilize to my baseline and understand the issue but no major breakthroughs yet in terms of energy. I am working now on releasing Trauma and having a TMS approach to it from Dr. Sarnos work. Lets see how it goes. It definitely is a jigsaw puzzle but once we can solve it s major part of our life comes back. Just as you did 😊. Looking forward to the rest of your story.
@@danielgg4671 this is really interesting, thank you so much for sharing. I've been hearing about people here and there trying these things and I've been curious about their results. I did do work on my own around releasing trauma and although I can't directly link this to my ME/CFS recovery, I do know that it helped me. I think that much of this work has a place and can be a vital piece of the puzzle for sure. I'd love to hear how this continues to unfold for you, if you ever have time to share some more!
