Damn, I bookmarked this versin of the build from description link and when I wanted to check it again later the build on the link got changed. Would not be better to make separate pages for the stages so people who started one setup are not surprised by those changes?
F no more autobomber srs? oh no i was having a blast, was happy with my build, why they removing the loop... thats not broken at all on srs, was only automatic
Jung made a loop that was dropping 20+ comets per second and had basically infinite energy shield. It was utterly broken and unfortunately deleting the loop was the only solution
One Storm Mage with the Stormfire support is quite good for applying shocks (makes it so shock is not removed on ignited enemies), and is a noticeable bump in dps against rares and bosses. I also use Lighting Penetration and Conduction, but there could be better options. Still experimenting.
a lot of people do use them. but they are for the most part useless. Rares wont survive long enough and bosses are far in between. Maybe switch one out for bosses. Otherwise its a DPS loss. there arent really options atm. System is not as flexible for now
@@KiRbYluv06 Sorry, the way I worded it made it unclear. The way the support gem works is so shock is not removed so long as the enemy is ignited. Normally shock has a duration, but with this support it will not expire as long as the enemy is ignited. This works very well since the Hellhound constantly applies ignite on enemies around it.
I guess you should try sniper squeletons for clear, with Pierce and scattershot, and when you enter boss fight you just swap to a boss killer build on arsonists.. it is working pretty well for me
The loop was clearly working as intended. Why not limit it to one spell that can be cast in minion death with support gems linked. Why just squash the entire thing
It’s clearly not intended to have a never ending loop that easily. GGG almost always destroys something opposed to nerfing it, then revisiting it later
@WarrenPuffet The tool tip and what SRS is makes it work as intended. My argument is pointing that it shouldn't be working as intended to cast as many spells all at one time. That's why I suggest a fix being simple as limiting the amount of spells to one spell.
What's you opinion on using the storm mage minions? There's a support that makes it so your fire skills consume ignite and another support that makes it so ignites on shocked enemies don't expire. What do you think about using comething to consume the ignites which also allows you to add shock to the build?
Anyone else having issues starting today of every mob blocking your roll stopping you so you are trapped and die? I'm tired of the damn nerfs already. The build is soooo damn weak :(
Anyone expecting SRS to not get nerfed like this hasn't paid much attention to PoE1 lol. This is a paid beta as early access. I'm not following build guides or even optimizing. I've started a character for each class and just figuring it out for now until the patching chills out. Might be awhile before that happens.
If Frost Mages can reliable freeze then you could automate Cast on Freeze + Unearth + Infernal Legion + Minion Instability. While Cast on Minion Death has the limitation to not work with spells that create minions the other trigger gems don't have this limitation. Unearth can summon up to 20 Bone Constructs if there are enough corpses. Instead of exploding them you could also use them as meat shields with Corpse Conservation and Persistance. As Fire Wall auto-ignites you can also use Cast on Ignite to automate them.
Manually casting fire wall and igniting enemies is not automation... As for the frost mage idea, based on the skill gem wording, I doubt it works at all, but even if it did, frost mages don't freeze that often.

they fixed that aswell you no longer gain the es stacks from the srs only normal minions - became obsolete pretty much - bs they removed it since its no more auto cast anyway and tops 5 srs per cast
@clintonjohnson3378 yes, self casting is just pressing the skill manually, they removed SRS spawning from triggered fire spells eg fireball + cast on ignite

Have you tried using Blasphemy socketed with Flammability and Enfeeble? (Requires Whisper of Doom node in passive tree so both are active). I love it, one less button to press and ups survivbility with the enfeeble, cost quite some Spirit though.
Genuinely the dumbest nerf. There is so many other ways to fix the server issues without ruining the build. Easy fix being cap the casts per second on COMD.
can you explain me how to make the 4. sloth on the infernal hound ? i have a greater orb for it but it doesnt let me use it on that skill - each other works
@floodo1 so it comes down to less clicks? The poison cloud is instantly gone because of the hound or SRS, that's why it's doing so much damage. If you keep some arsonist, they will also be able to ignite it.

Curious what people think of using the lightning skeleton for the shock vs the cold skeleton for the freeze, im rocking a single lightning skelly at like 250 spirit with 6 autobombers and it feels great
yea i really dont know why they nerfed that shit... when broken ass comet loop still exists... absolutely nuked my build... i thought the entire point was this game being harder.... mobs have stupid hp. yet they nuke anything that works well so far... grenade nuke got destroyed because of ranger. now my srs summon is nuked because of a dumbass sorc build... annoying me. really whats the point of cast when at this point. its a HUGE spirit sink

Assuming you also have infernal legion socketed, their duration may be expiring before they die to the fire damage. You could extend their duration with Persistence, or try removing some minion resist (fire/all) from your passive tree so that they take the damage quickly enough.
I'm using normal SRS and it feels great. I also suggest using Fire Exposure and Strip Away supports on the Hellhound. He removes quite a bit of fire res from all enemies and makes other minions much stronger. The doggo sadly does not do that much damage anyway, so it's better to use him to buff other minions.
@@cadeb11 really? I tried it during the campaign and didn't really feel like my clear speed changed at all. Maybe it depends on your build. With enough minion health on the tree and on a sceptre perhaps.

So basically GGG are going to make POE 2 into POE 1, where certain players will make a skill/mechanic OP as fuck, so GGG's answer will be to nerf it into the ground/remove the mechanic all together and ruin everything for the rest of the community. This may seem like an over-reaction from me but I see these solutions from GGG snowballing like they did in POE 1 and fun going out the window. Surely after all these years, GGG can find better solutions than this.

I wasn't implying that nothing needed to be done about the server melting issue, just that a different solution needs to be applied. The problem wasn't the triggered SRS looping, it was what Jungroan was able to do with it that was causing the problem. Normal SRS looping wasn't causing the issue but now GGG ha killed it.

That does not make sense. Even in PoE1 they would have nerfed something like this mid league since it is CLEARLY unintended AND it breaks the servers. It is much easier and safer to fix an unintended interaction than it is to do 'propper server managment'. Dicking around with infrastructure mid-league is worse than dicking around with skills.

I really, really hate to say "I told you so" in the last video, but sadly I called it. The fun police were alerted to your location and injustice was served. I like the bones of this game but I am constantly asking "wtf were they thinking" with some many of the decisions and updates to POE2. I'll be back in a few weeks/months, time to go play STALKER 2 instead.

I've been playing with this too-20% shocks on bosses is good. My problem is the shocks are very inconsistent

Can ailments not coexist? Shock and ignite, etc. Trying to make a all elements build for my wife since she just plays with whatever spell she wants

Im still running cast on minion death but swapped it out with comet+echo and been having a blast tbh lol
Hope they buff the frost mages by giving them a bit faster base cast speed
I hope they buff everything that isn't merc/sorc because most of the passive tree is weak if you do not pick those classes

Wonder how demon form would be now since they fixed it to work with SRS. The +5 to skills seems like it would be huge for it.

Why my shield didnt scale as much as urs? I'm using Grim feast and have 3 gear with +50% armor and energy shield. i only got doubled shield
they fixed that aswell you no longer gain the es stacks from the srs only normal minions - became obsolete pretty much - bs they removed it since its no more auto cast anyway and tops 5 srs per cast
@ He's getting it post patch. He can get more than double his maximum shield. Im able to get just double.

area is small and its half of effect i get 40 42 self cast 14 16 aura
Blasphemy has 50% of efficacy, and reserves the equivalent to 3 arsonists. it's just a waste

just level up, its automatic when u get high level

Why not use snipers? 2 is enough to keep using the poison cloud constantly and with scattershot, it kills things faster than arsonists

Yea, lightning skelly with shock's doesn't expire is probably worth it. At the very least for bosses.
With the right supports it can keep shock on mobs permanently, definitely the way to go for more damage

So GGG underestimated the Community that came up with builds like Wardloop/CWDT and insted of accoutning for something like this whit propper server managment, they just kill the build? Its like the first day for you Jonathan? Next nerf incoming is the Freeze mechanic for sure, so better not test the Minions ;)
That does not make sense. Even in PoE1 they would have nerfed something like this mid league since it is CLEARLY unintended AND it breaks the servers. It is much easier and safer to fix an unintended interaction than it is to do 'propper server managment'. Dicking around with infrastructure mid-league is worse than dicking around with skills.
@@lorddarkflare you understand what a wardloopbuild is? ITS basicly exactly this and it was neither patched or fixes in poe1 and the Server dient crash.

@@preemptivefaceplant5277 have you ever played a wardloop build? there is absolutly no difference. That build he came up with is basicly a Wardloop/CDWT build. You spawn minions, kill them throu selfdmg and trigger several skills at once with COMD. its basicly the same interaction.
Again the playerbase of poe will always limittest buildpossibilites and GGG needs to account for this sort of player ingenuity and if a build version is bugging the server, fix the server insted of destroy the build. wtf is GGG doing when empys group going to 6man scale maps into oblivion?`disable group play because the server cant handle it?

We need to let go of the PoE 1 urge for build automation. We'll still have these builds in that game. Poe 2 is for pressing buttons. ❤
I really, really hate to say "I told you so" in the last video, but sadly I called it. The fun police were alerted to your location and injustice was served.
I like the bones of this game but I am constantly asking "wtf were they thinking" with some many of the decisions and updates to POE2. I'll be back in a few weeks/months, time to go play STALKER 2 instead.

The health of the game is more important than breaking the game or abusing bugs/exploit
