Decisions decisions Huw, my 'OCD ness' would not let me chop the top of that tree off, while I agree with your reasoning, I mean a blank white sky is a definite no-no, but I think I would probably try to take a shot where I got some, even minor, detail in the sky and give myself the option to blend the top of the tree in in software afterwards, There is of course no way you could pass that tree and not take a picture, but topless, nope, it would irritate me for ever if I did. Good video. I agree that taking the top of was the best option. I don't know if it is caused by the yputube convertion but I found the image way to yellow on the video footage the tree stood out of its surroundings due to its colour. In the final image everything around it also looked yellow and therfore it didn't look as good as in the video footage. Was this a new video or an older one? Grt guido
Hello Guido. This tree and video were created last autumn. I've checked the original RAW and yes it is quite yellow in appearance. This year I think I was there a bit later and the leaves were more orange, but last year in the UK autumn was odd - everything stayed green for weeks and then in one week turned and dropped. This year autumn was about two weeks early...

@huwalban same here we almost skipped autumn this year. There weren't even colors leaves just turned brown and fell of immediately.
