Hey Creatures!! I’m so happy to be back ☺️✌🏻 If you’d like to grab a Niffler plushie, be sure to click the top link in my bio! What video should I make next?😊
I have a lone ferret, picked for us by the rescue as he’d had a number of attempts over many many months in various homes/groups and just doesn’t get on with other ferrets. After owning many reptiles, rats, a cat, even a dog, being a ferret parent was a shock! They need SO much attention, are always trying to unalive themselves or get in to trouble 😂 especially with a lone ferret I want to make sure he’s got company when he’s awake and plenty of entertainment! He poos everywhere despite litter trays and puppy pads and he does have a smell…But he’s utterly wonderful and makes me laugh every day, he’s affectionate and fun and so adorable. they really are like no other pet!
Im so insanely happy to see you back, I was really hoping to see your ferrets again! I actually ended up getting my own 2 ferrets thanks to your channel, one sable named Freya, and a cinnamon named Elia. They're siblings that grew up together, so they get along great. And they behave decently well, which I wasn't expecting. Aside from the one being obsessed with anything that sqeuaks, and the other stealing every sock she possibly can.
Wow it’s so nice to see Dolby and niffler all grown up I’ve been watching your videos about 5-6 years before I ever even had any ferrets of my own and now I’ve had mine for a year 💕
I have a sensitive sense of smell, but not toward a lot of animals. I loved my ferret's smell. And all of my pets'. Especially after a while when I got used to it, these smells were calming and therapeutic. They were "family" smells. Ferrets smell nice to me.
I think we need a story time on the Ferret + air vent + shop 🤔. Hope you've been well and you just haven't been here, because you've just been living life .
Welcome back! I havent watched the video yet but i hope you are well. I recently went back and watched a few of your older videos, so was thinking about you. Im glad Niffler is still around!

Ferrets are amazing I had so many play pens for outside and 2 ferret nation cages combined and leashes to take them for walks and couches and hammocks and toys for them
Very excited to see you back! I believe Nationwide is the only insurance company will offer exotic pet insurance for all kind of animals. Even for reptiles!

Agree 100%, the ferrets themselves have kind of an earthy smell that is actually quite pleasant once you get used to it. But their poop...they poop ALL THE TIME and even litter box trained ferrets will have consistent accidents. Think of ferret smells like baby smells...if you don't stay on top of it, it will take over the house, but if you do daily cleaning, it can be managed but not eliminated.

Also nation wide has pet insurance it was expensive in NY but I’m assuming more suburban areas would be more affordable it was $38 Per Ferret for a month in NY
ferrets are one of those pets that one day i’d love to have but don’t think will realistically ever happen. i just need to befriend someone who owns ferrets 🙂
I babysat ferrets for a month and determined that they weren't for me; They need another ferret to keep them company but I noticed that they still like human interaction and that's not something I can give them.
NATIONWIDE, I believe, has the only pet insurance that covers ferrets in the USA. And the veterinary care is what I always try to educate people on when they think they want a ferret. We have spent so many thousands and thousands of dollars on our ferrets. Between medicine for Insulinoma, implants for Adrenal, and having to remove multiple tumors (and eventually a whole leg amputation), really added up!
You're back! ❤ So glad to see you a d your pets are doing good. I really liked this video and wish more people would post videos with the honest facts about different pets that show why they may or may not be for you. Educating yourself is key when it comes to pets, because the truth is, you're signing up to take care of this creature for their lifetime. You will be their #1 protector, provider, and support. Alas, I have known ferrets aren't for me for well over a decade now. The smell is a bit eh, but it's the forever hovering over them when they're out and about that would kill me. I do pet sit ferrets from time to time, so I get my ferret-fix that way. 😂 But I've also seen first hand why the saying is wrong and should be "curiosity killed the ferret". When i was younger a former family friend had ferrets and well, I've seen them raised on a mostly a kibble/pellet diet, free roaming in a house most definitely not ferret proofed, house was positively rank with ferret smell, and there were definitely no vet trips. I didn't even know they needed rabies shots until a few years back when I took on a new client for petsitting who had ferrets. I took it upon myself to do more in-depth research and was shocked. I've met and known several people with ferrets and, sad to say, they apparently weren't giving them the best care despite their best efforts. I now wonder if that actually starts at the pet store. Wring information or lack of given, maybe?
So excited about the Niffler plush! I've always wanted to keep ferrets but the person I live with is super allergic, this way I can at least have a ferret plushie! (Hopefully, there are enough orders to produce them) ^_^ Also, I'm super happy to see a new video posted, It always makes my day watching Emzotic's videos :D
Omg I missed these videos so much! You introduced me to ferrets aaaaaall the way back in 2016 and I finally got my two smelly noodles this year! We have insurance for ferrets in the UK but it's hard to find a proper coverage (i.e. neutering isn't covered, just to mention one). Also for people considering ferrets: EXPECT THEM TO TRY AND MUNCH/EAT STUFF THAT THEY SHOULDN'T BE EATING! My girl is a demon, if something falls that she shouldn't have she goes full on Matrix to reach it. btw my babies' names are Milo (boy, picked by me) and Noodle (demon girly, picked by my partner)
i had 3 very energetic ferrets but i had to give them away because i was too busy with school so i didnt have time but now i do and i want them again but ill just wait till im an adult

My two ferret boys are out 6-7 hours a day from 4pm till 10pm and they have so many toys and activities! But you are not wrong that my ferret life is just stopping them from hurting themselves and getting into things they shouldn't. They have climbed to the very top of my wardrobe before, they have learned to open doors, they will rip up your carpet trying to dig to places they want to go if they don't have enough stimulation where they are! Also wether or not they are toilet trained is completely dependent on the day... Sometimes they are perfect they always go on their pee pads and some days they just don't! Also your house and your clothes will always smell like ferret and cleaning their cage every day or every second day is stinky and awful. They are so beautiful as pets though, I have an albino boy that lives to wrestle and follow people around and then a masked sable chonk that likes to climb up your pants to get on the table or bench in the hopes of finding food. They both love cuddles and kisses and the little dance they do is worth every hardship. They are so incredible
I fostered some ferrets LOVED them but I just couldn't get pass the smell. So id definitely say either foster or spend a good bit of time around them 1st.
Em. 💚 I think you and I could have been amazing friends if we knew each other in real life, so I think of you as a friend anyway. And I can't put into words how happy it makes me feel to see you glowing and finding yourself again. I can't wait to continue the journey with you. One combat boot in front of the other. 🫂
Hello Emma. Welcome back. I have been watching you for years. I have 3 beautiful baby girls. You are right to warn people about vets bills. My contraceptive implants were 380 pounds each, but that's why God invented credit cards. I can't remember what the annual vaccinations were, but they go again in January for their jabs. If you have ferrets, keeping them healthy is a real priority. Mine are raw fed. They had chopped pork ribs yesterday, as they need to have bones on which to sharpen their teeth. They are clean animals. They learn to use puppy pads so accidents are very rare. Mine are free roam from dawn to dusk, but I can fence off one room when visitors call. Sorry that little Dobbie is losing her eyesight. Niffler will miss her when she goes. Best wishes from your old country. xx
Welcome back! How very appropriate that the first video is about the carpet noodle sharks. Ferrets are definitely not the right animal for me to keep but I'd love to interact with a few. They are pure silly chaos. But I'm in California so no sniffing ferrets for me 😂 I actually had a high school classmate who had ferrets but obviously she was hiding them. On a more serious note, have there been any attempts to stop the Marshall's ferrets monopoly? They're clearly not practicing good breeding with so little genetic diversity leading to serious health problems.
As a European ferret-keeper, here the the "social"/"communal" thing is heavily debated and research is leaning more and more towards one being better, because of the polecat being a solitary animal. I've had multiple ferrets in the past. One group of two females and two males, then two brothers, and now one male ferret. Both groups had a lot of territorial conflict that was stressing the ferrets out and causing them severe health problems. Tried a bunch of different situation to keep everyone happy, but it never truly worked. My current solitary boy seems to be doing very well. He plays with us and our cat. I let him out every day at standard times, and try to let him out any other time he asks for it. Don't think I'll ever be going back to multiple ferrets after experiencing both.
Day 3 of asking Hi I don’t think you’ll see this but if you do I am a fan hoping to get 2 or 3 ferrets and I was wondering if you can do another ferret care guid from Joey:)
Weirdly enough I’m sensitive to certain dog smells like terriers and rats but ferrets I actually adore their smell. I know not everyone likes their smell so I try to deep wash all my clothes in snuggies and bed clothes often to hide their scent off my work shirts for work days. Even if they are clean cause not everyone appreciates the ferret cologne.
My two girls are 7 going on 8 they where my birthday gift we have a three story house for them my one has adrenal disease the other has a few tumors but she’s good I have to know did you just try the melatonin drops for dobby or the implant first and has her privet area swell?
So I'm not directly advocating breaking California state law, but it is estimated that hundreds of thousands to millions of ferrets live in CA, and unless you go to animal control, with your ferrets in hand, and say please take these away from me, the odds of the state caring at all are minimal. It's usually only when animal control is forced to act that they do so(like if you were arrested or otherwise authorities were forced to come to your home). I say this because the CA law that bans them is beyond outdated and factually incorrect. CA thinks ferrets if loose could form feral colonies(like cats)...it takes about 1 day of living with a ferret to realize they have been domesticated so much they cannot survive in the wild let alone form a feral colony. This is why they are legal in the other 48 states(Hawaii also bans them but that's actually a good reason, because they are highly isolated and so have to heavily regulate what animals are allowed there) Further, cats actually commonly DO form feral colonies all over the place, and DO impact local wildlife, yet they are totally legal in CA.

Best wishes from your old country. xx
I miss your beautiful face !!! Welcome back to UA-cam 😊 !!!!
YES OML
Welcome back! How very appropriate that the first video is about the carpet noodle sharks.
Ferrets are definitely not the right animal for me to keep but I'd love to interact with a few. They are pure silly chaos. But I'm in California so no sniffing ferrets for me 😂 I actually had a high school classmate who had ferrets but obviously she was hiding them.
On a more serious note, have there been any attempts to stop the Marshall's ferrets monopoly? They're clearly not practicing good breeding with so little genetic diversity leading to serious health problems.
ILYSM!!!!

My dream pet 🎉
They’re such a great pet!
Hey omg I am such a big fan the ferrets are so cute I have 2
Awesome video I have 4 ferrets myself Mya Rufus Maddie and Jack
I would love a sweet ferret
Day 3 of asking Hi I don’t think you’ll see this but if you do I am a fan hoping to get 2 or 3 ferrets and I was wondering if you can do another ferret care guid from Joey:)
Is Niffler desexed? He looks quite fluffy that is why Im curious 😊
Its been a minute
Too many minutes ❤ I will never leave it that long again.
Em!!!
Helloooooo!! 👋🏻 ❤
This is why they are legal in the other 48 states(Hawaii also bans them but that's actually a good reason, because they are highly isolated and so have to heavily regulate what animals are allowed there)
Further, cats actually commonly DO form feral colonies all over the place, and DO impact local wildlife, yet they are totally legal in CA.
My heart dropped when I saw the video I thought you left us!! ❤❤
Can you please give us more videos and what you’ve been doing
