Mushrooms did wonders in my life. I was diagnosed with cptsd since my teenage, spent my whole life fighting cptsd. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with similar health challenges.

Can you help me with the reliable source. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Spain. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.

Ive done shrooms last month in my house. It taught me how severely traumatized I was from alcohol. I healed from many mental traumas from my past and was able to forgive, let go. Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.l now have a more calm mind

@@alexsfamily4166 ...you can very easily die from low oxygen levels, in fact just dramatic negative changes in available oxygen can cause sickness and/or death even if both levels are live-able by humans. Most commonly referred to as High Altitude Sickness (triggered by people traveling "quickly" to a higher elevation)
But I agree, don't grow lots of mushrooms in your bedroom, that many spores are not good for you, larger indoor growers have extensive venting and masks for non-covid reasons lol

I live in Oregon, and buying soy hulls, especially if i'm not ordering a literal ton, is hard. Don't know why it's so difficult, but i'm considering using alfalfa.
Alfalfa hay is tempting, since it's easy to get a hold of, but i think i might go for the pellets instead due to contamination issues.
The pellets list a protein content of 20%, which is actually about double what soy bean hull is listed as online.

I've been using a 50/50 mix of pea straw and dry tree fern fronds from my property for my Grey Oyster mushrooms. I live in New Zealand, and my property has a lot of ferns. When dead and brown, the fronds shatter into something similar to a fine straw when run over a few times with a lawnmower.
I think I'm going to try a bag with 100% fern fronds next time I make some fruiting logs, and see how that compares, yield wise.

@@insertphrasehere15 More detail please.. did you pasteurize the fronds after mowing? I'd imagine they'd be pretty sharp and be likely to puncture the bags?

@@insertphrasehere15 I bet. I wonder about growing on waste streams.

@@yeahnahsweetas No they don't puncture the bags, I pasteurise them with the straw with hydrated lime.
Recently I've taken to getting some coffee grounds from a local coffee cart and mixing them in too (about a third of the total, with the other two thirds being straw and dry fronds. So far it's working well, with much better yields.
Coffee grounds have to be very fresh (less than a day) or they get moldy, but the oyster mushoom mycelium will outcompete the mold anyway if the spawn is strong.

Will you ever do a video on liquid cultures? What nutrients the mycelium needs to grow how to make a liquid culture sterilization and so on?

he have a vid like this on the channel.. in my expirience you can do a good LC whit honey or canadian Sirup, remember never put more than 4% sugar or mycelium don't grow, target the 2%, also malt extract, yeast, dextrosie is good stuff, don't use corn sirup (make the LC milky, is good for agar dish), for the agar i do the same plus a bit of agar, food color, and a tip of amid for cooking (maizena).. for the jar and the lid follow what tony say in he's vid.. LC are more easy and safe for start, but you need some equip, if you whant kick start buy some kit (ready substrate) or if you have the substrate buy some grain spawn, some bags and some polipropilene wool (acquarium filter is great), have fun

Hi. I learned a lot from your videos. I want to ask about my fruit bags, you might have encountered it already.
After the 2nd flush, the surface appeared to be stoney and coral like. What kind of infection is this? Thank you.

If I were to place a fruiting mushroom block into a bin of species-appropriate sterilized substrate, would the mushrooms colonize the new substrate?

Great video. One question. You're just using regular fuel pellets that someone would use in a pellet stove? Are those pellets all created equal or is there something you need to watch out for when purchasing? Thank you so much.

    I have been
buying masters mix for a couple year now. Costs about $43 with shipping for 40 lbs. I make 5 lb blocks so 20 blocks can be made from that. Using 2 lbs masters to 3 lbs water.
