Hi Rutger A video explaining current directory (cd) in more detail will be made available this afternoon. But to solve your problem here, you need to remember to put " " around your adress so Stata reads it as a string. So write: cd "your adress" Hope this helps!
Hey steffan, I was wondering if you would be available for a tutoring session with Stata? (Thats if you still use it and are familiar with it) It would be super helpful!
I still don't understand/appreciate the use of these "do" files. Maybe because I am not a statistician anyway. And probably because I do basic analyses. I just type my commands in the box directly and run them. If I lose an analysis or realise I made a mistake, I correct it and run it. A practical example of where files save the day may be useful. Thank for the video.
Even for basic analysis it is good to use do-files. Not only do they make replicating faster, easier to correct errors, but you can also easily shows others what you have done. You can see it with almost every video on the playlist how do-files are handy to use.
Your explanations are much easier to understand than the documentation and lecturers!!
Really so helpful to me, have been struggling stata operations but I get a gist of it with the explanation so far!
Thanks for the video, very helpful!

Stata 14 is fine for this.
Comments don't get generated as it is a comment. If I understand you correctly.
