Hey hey, I am about to buy the template but have a question. I want to make an attacks similar to the Into the Breach game where all the attacks are in the form of some shape and they can move enemies. Will it be not hard to implement? Thanks in advance
Attacking in different shapes are possible but pushing is not supported. Sometimes it is difficult to calculate direction when the enemies are big. But join the Discord server, maybe someone else already implemented and can help.

Well I swear that if I would have more resources any time soon I will buy your engine :) and even if I would finally give up, well making your own game is unreplaceable expirence. I was wondering how much do you list for this and firstly I was surprised by these 99.99 but then I thought about UE5 and fact that it is for free :) Anyway you've chosen harder path than just creating a game and I hope you will make more money out of this :)

no it's not possible, as Unity and Unreal use completely different ways of coding and logic. Even some of the assets are exclusive for unreal engine use only

Dialogue system that has stat based options? Lockpicking and other exploration skills? Can you have just single characters instead units?

But there is no lockpicking or explore skills. Single character? Maybe you are talking about another template?

@@Yoni123 No, there is only 1 character (Hero) that you control in explore mode and that character can have many units that are used in battle mode.
Do you think you can make a third person mode for the exploring mode?
I am busy with another project but with a bit of modification I believe it is possible. Biggest change will be interactions. instead of mouse click, can have a sphere to detect interactables.

No, terrain needs to be flat.

@@sciencefaction2646 There isn't a class logic since it all depends on stats and abilities. No talent trees either because units do not level up :)
If there's an object between the user and and target, would that block the fireball?
Nope, obstacles block the movement only.
Maybe it can be done by having the object recognize the attacker's cell position and the defender's cell position before the attack launches, and based on the position determine whether to provide a "Covered" buff that protects the defender, or not.
And of course, a trigger on the object that generates a "blocked" animation of the attack in case it collides with the object.
Just thinking ideas.
Would like to combine this battle system with your Turn-Based JRPG Template
if you mean explore mode of jRPG and battle mode of this then I don't think you will need the jRPG template, just modify this one to be like that. There are no major differences in explore modes.
