@@GunbladeKnight You don't see your own role. In the actual physical game, you look at your role, you place it face down in front of you, and you don't look at it again, ever. There are a few exceptions, like the robber who looks at which role they steal, or the insomniac, who looks at their role as the last action of the night, but a big part of the game is figuring out who YOU are. In this case, Brian should have been more careful, because he didn't know which role he was anymore. All he knew was that, if Ragus didn't lie, Kobo was werewolf. And Kobo only knew Vesper was her werewolf partner. There weren't many plays they could do. If Brian said he robbed Kobo's role (thus cancelling the switcharoo), he'd have exposed her as werewolf. If he said he robbed someone else, since robber goes before trouble maker, Kobo would have exposed him, thinking she was no longer werewolf. Saying her robbed Vesper, Vesper exposed him, knowing he was no longer werewolf. He could have lied about his role, but the issue there is that he had to find a way to know that he was werewolf, and Kobo had to find a way to know she was still werewolf. Most plays I can see would inevitably lead to one of them being suspect. Maybe Brian could have pretended to be a seer and that he looked at Vesper and saw he was werewolf. He would have then been exposed by Kobo, but there would have been a chance the others would vote for Vesper instead of him.
