New mic is good (sounding crisp like our boy Stuckey over here), but as someone else said for anyone wearing headphones it only comes out of the right speaker. Likely it's recording as a Mono channel and you're putting it into a Stereo track in your editing software (left and right) so it just places it on the left or right only. If you're using Premiere or Resolve you can right click on the audio track and change the track type to mono, or in premiere you can drag an audio effect onto the clip called "fill left with right" which will just fill the left speaker with the same as the right so it sounds normal through headphones or stereo speakers. Depending on what program you use to record the audio you can also just try to record it in Stereo mode and avoid the other steps if it will let you. For distance, you don't have to be right on top of it but leaning back was a bit too quiet and loses the purpose of using the better mic. Like 8 inches away or so should be fine (around where you are around 3:30), little farther is okay just don't fully sit back. When you lean in a little too close, you may also want to add a cheap pop filter or windscreen to the front of the microphone which will greatly reduce the popping sounds of words starting with P or some B words where you really feel the wind of your voice popping the mic a bit.
The audio quality is good, but I'm only getting sound from my right headphone. It's not the nicest pair of headphones but I did check and the left side still works. Thanks as always for the video Josh!
My right ear enjoyed it…my left ear was left wanting to know what’s going on lol. This mic has a much drier sound like what you’d hear from a radio studio. Your other mic seemed to let in more room reverb. This one has a great quality sound. Some people like hearing some room reverb, but it’s personal preference. The volume of this video was consistent with your other videos, so that’s a plus. I didn’t notice a quality difference when you were further from the mic, it was just quieter. If you can turn the gain or volume up, I think you’d be fine with sitting further away. You would get super loud if you ever lean in, so you’d have to be mindful of that. A compressor would help with that issue, but I’m not sure if you have that ability. I’m a live sound engineer for a church so I’m used to having a full board with a bunch of ways to control sound. If you can’t adjust the volume or gain, then where you were for this video was great. Overall, two thumbs up from me for this mic 👍👍
yes big difference on the audio level when you lean back. Much lower when leaned back. But i think you don't need to be as close as you are. I think another 8" back and your still good.
The mic sounds clear, but it's only coming in on my right ear on my headphones. I checked on other videos and yours is the only single-ear video. Your output may be mono instead of stereo. FYI, 9:24 The word you're looking for is proverbial.
You play well, Josh! I believe if you implemented a rear pause into your stroke, u wouldn't miss the shots like the 3 ball in your first game. It takes a lot of time & and dedication, but it's worth it! Great match, Josh!

“Put this 9 in, let’s call it a day” 😂 I’ve missed many easy shots after making a difficult shot. I can relate
Pleasure meeting you bro and running a few racks. Rough day at the office, let's run it back sometime. Btw it was a 5-4 race.

It would be wild, if somebody would cut combo the 9
In the UK, they pot their balls and we pot our plants. Instead of a car hood, it's a bonnet to them. LOL But we have car bras!
that mic sounds a lot better - a lot more clear - the other one wasn't bad though this one picks up a lot more
Proverbially is the word you were looking for.

@jamescathcart4762 what ya mean?
@@Amateur_Pool 5 TO 4 race. I am curious how you figured that?
@jamescathcart4762 the tournament director assigned them. It's based on your rating (A player, B player, C player, etc)
