I heard Paul Stamets claim that he sounded like “Terrence McKenna” when he brought up a mushroom trip he had regarding multiverse, saying Terence believed in multiverse. I shouted “Pshht Terence never believed in multiverse theory! Well... at least I’ve never heard him say anything about it or mention the word multiverse”. I looked up Terence McKenna multiverse and this was the first video. I’m still pretty confident in my initial response, but can someone explain to me why Paul Stamets said that? He’s a reputable scientist and maybe knew Terence personally, yet I don’t understand what he means, because Terence has never brought multiverse up. Hyperspace yes, collective unconscious, yes, weird functions of time and ontological causality, but not multiverse per se. ?

He speaks about "fractal manifold eventualities," or some such, in at least one video I've heard. He states that the universe could split off into two universes, for whatever reason, and does so when speaking of quantum mechanics.

@@Foxdiesolid I had a similar experience a few years ago when I first discovered Terence, it was a video discussion between Dennis and Paul Stamets - they mentioned the exact date he anticipated the timewave to occur, and I experienced a sudden surge of energy through my entire body, emanating from my palms, it took ten or fifteen minutes for this experience to subside and it was so intense that I hyperventilated and cried and had to sit down and focus on breathing. Fire and ice is a good way of putting it, it was like something lit me up. No logical or rational explanation for that… the closest match I could find as far as the symptoms go was a sudden burst of adrenaline
It still boggles my mind and makes me upset

I am listening McKenna for about few mounts and I feel very unsettling. The ideas particularly in this video - no matter how interesting - are quite dull - mostly because I have heard them already and in quite better shapes in the works of Clifford D. Simak - about 30-40 years before McKenna's bloom. for anyone interesting in such themes - I highly recommend the books of Clifford (most of them are audiobooks here in youtube) time-travel/parallel-civilizations/hyper-mind/plant-mind and much more - books as - All Flesh Is Grass (1965) Way Station (1963) Time is the Simplest Thing (1961) City (1952)
I wonder the origin source of Clifford's works as well as is McKenna have read them...

Brother, McKennas entire world philosophy would be against youre anger at this mans comment. you speak before listening or even trying to understand what he's saying. He said how he felt and provided actual reasoning. Don't be offended for a man who died a long time ago, he doesnt care now and he didn't care then.

ReVEnge of Rudy21 sorry but I’m more intelligent than to limit myself to a prepackaged view of reality that Christians have. It’s hilarious you mention faith considering that you can only accept what is in your precious fairy tale and constrict yourself to any truths outside of it. That is the opposite of faith. Faith is openness to new ideas. Wake up.

@@Lixohh I was raised Christian. I wasn't satisfied with what the faith thought me. I wasn't satified with the answers I got so at about the age of 18 I set of to explore the "occult" or hidden knowledge of our Universe. I read a lot of David Icke, Terrence, Buhdah, Quantum physics, DMT, ahyoasca. These all really opened my eyes to a world no one around me really knew of. They are all great sources of Divine knowledge and God lead me to experience them so that when I eventually came back to his Kingdom (presence) I would have a Greater understanding and appreciation of Him. GOD is manifest in the above mentioned sources but when you get to truely know Him, you will see that all knowledge you seek and MORE are........Give God a chance my friend, listen to the sermons if Dr Myles, find a coach.
