Hello bro, thanks a lot for this great tutorial, I have created the SMTP provider on Windows Server 2016 and it works very well and I don't have any problem except the delivery status, I got the emails into the JUNK FOLDER. I asked a friend for a solution for this problem but he told me that I need to setup SPF, DKIM and MX Records but I don't have any idea about how to do that, can you help me in this issue? This is just a relay. The author fails to fully define what that means. I'm not even 100% sure what it means but you will need an actual SMTP mail server like SendGrid to send your emails. How to plug that into the relay...it wasn't entirely clear from this video how that is done so some guesswork might be in order. Despite that it's a nice presentation. Constantly ending sentences on a higher voice pitch made me insane, though.

I know how to configure that in .NET mailMessage set the to to use UTF-8 and Smtp server to use international, however I have never gotten it to work through the IIS. I am going to check tomorrow to see what the smart host is tomorrow. I will comment back. Great Video.

You don't need to put anything in it. If you don't use it as a relay, the SMTP and directly deliver to the target
Just make sure you grant permissions to localhost or 127.0.0.1 so you are allowed to connect to the Mail Server.
