Love it bro!!!! Awesome vid, I really enjoyed the whole process! The tiller did nice work, even if it took 60 pulls to start. 😉🤣 the coozie was A+ by the way... 🤙🏼
Glad to see your still kick’n mate! Thought the COVAIDS might have gott’n you.🤪 Top project , definitely going to be interesting seeing how the plugs perform over spring and summer. Hangin 4 An update on your backyard sir Wally to see how she’s holding up after winter. Nice work🤙
Lawn Dreams had turf left over from last year, so dig up some soil and planted in in plugs, it’s started creeping which is great. Been wanting to get a pro plugger for a while, how do you rate it?
Cameron Fortune haven’t given it a burl yet but looks great from some other turf applications you see and on the tubes. It’s the patience part that I’ll need to work on, and weed control in gaps. And yeah rate of spread is interesting. You happy with the spread rate (considering dormancy I guess also)?
Lawn Dreams, My tiftuf never went dormant, I have a north facing house on a main road so the grass continued to maintain colour and some small amount of growth throughout winter. It’s currently moving about 10mm a day from eyeballing it. I need to work on my patience as well hahahaha. I’ll probably invest in the pro-plugger! All I need now is a $60 rotary hoe
Love your 'fun gardener' - I like to think of myself as a fun gardener - perhaps I should own one. Hard to get hold of perhaps........
Your engine runs a little smoother I’d imagine.
Well you know where to find one if you need to turn some dirt whilst enjoying doing it.
☀️Great update!! That was some tiller! 😎👍
Thanks mate. Inching closer to the holy Bermuda grail.
Man, that tiller was a workout
Lol sure was man. I think it’s now kaput 😆

Nice work🤙
Cheers mate!! Yeah battling through lockdown, numbers starting to look better. Will have to get something on the wally cracking for you soon!!
Nice video. Waiting for the tiller to take out the tree and launch into the fence. Might think about the chess look and do updates on the growth
Now that would make for some quality viewing!!
giggles all round
Thanks, glad you liked it
Great to see some spring work in the yard, awesome! You must be in Cheltenham, I see the elevator test shaft??
Thanks mate. Stands out like a sore thumb doesn’t it!?
Someone should turn it into the big matchstick. Now that would be a true Aussie attraction!
😆
Did you just do 2 rounds of Roundup? If so any weeds get throw post dropping turf?
Yep 2 rounds nuked it for a while. New lawn made with plugs so lots of weeds came back through the bare earth
@@lawndreams5952 oh spewing, maybe I'll 3-4 rounds 🤣
@@ayske1 😆 🔥
Get sod - plugs are for turf farms
Have you first primed it
Hey mate, no primer bulb on these old girls. Think the carby is up the creek
Currently doing the exact same thing in footscray except it’s transplanting from front to back
Nice. Pro plugger?

Where's the safety glasses, mate?
Opted for the invisible frame numbers lol
