It's specifically designed to only accelerate when it's already moving....you can't get the throttle to work standing still . It's not a fault it tells you in the instructions you have to be moving before the throttle engages
Is it honestly worth purchasing for riding around and getting to and from places as I’m a uni student and I was thinking about getting one of these but I don’t wanna risk wasting money hopefully I hear back from you
Yeah it's worth it if your looking for an electric mode of transport. It's up to you if you think it's worth spending the money. Only issue is if you have any issues they can de difficult to get it fixed....
I've had mine a year and it's been awesome. ..replaced the brake pads 3times and I had a puncture last week so I slimed the inner tube and it's perfect. ..I find around 40 is the perfect tyre pressure tho it says 40-60
@@rstv84 it states in the user manual that you have to push to start it. Also does it appear to be rubbing on disk when you go along? I took mine to halfords and they have sorted this problem for me
I followed your advice and got the same white wheels and the back one blew and I replaced it back to the stock tyre so for a while it looked like yours 1 black 1 white. I have since found some way more durable mini moto tyres. Let me know if you need a link
I've had mine a year now and it will only move when you start it moving ....that's been the same since day one but I notice it goes down to one light on the charge when I go uphill and it even cuts out if I go too fast or uphill its so frustrating as I now work 5miles away and it dies on a full charge after 3 to 4miles...is it worth getting a new battery?
@@rstv84 that's the hardest part. Sourcing the parts. I'm just being lazy but I'm sure loads of people are looking for the same thing so it's a good video idea.

Also the way you speak about the bike is like an old family dog that is nearing it's last days. 🤣
Lol at least the emotion came through

Also the delayed push to start is actually a safety mechanism on all windgoo bikes
no, I disagree it never did that in the whole year I had it! i think its the motor it feels slower too,
@@rstv84 it states in the user manual that you have to push to start it. Also does it appear to be rubbing on disk when you go along? I took mine to halfords and they have sorted this problem for me
@@rstv84 Its a dirty contact or the cable loosen up. Its not the motor. You'd soon smell burning if it was. I'd look at the cable first.
@@rstv84 I happen the same, buy another and now it goes slower, you also have to push to start
Please how long does the battery last?
You you rude it for six straight hours?

I'd love a link thanks
Well worth it amigo 👍
your throttle is not working because the magnet sensors may be dirty. these are on the hub. clean them.
How many miles realistically can you get on a full charge
About 10bmiles

My new windgoo b3 came in today with a flat rear wheel... what do i do :(
can you pump it up? or you'll need a new innertube, or try the slime!
Had the same issue, just go to your local petrol station and use the pump machine.
Hey i have a urban glide 140 (same bike) but mine just turns off after driving 1km on a full charge ...i have it 9 months

Does it start up again or there's no power after 1km

I live in the UK and rude it everywhere. So I think its ok
Hey,
Great video! Is the battery still good or do you feel the battery is slowly dying?
Thanks! It is defiantly discharging quicker but it has had heavy usage over the last 12 months

Strange there is no pedal. Do. You need a licence
No licence needed. Check out my b20 review for the one with pedals
The throttle is meant to be like that to stop accidents.
It was never like that for whole last year. Must have been faulty from the beginning and fixed itself. Thanks
Doesn't on mine / no need to push to start. Great review @The Home Mechanic.
So in other words it's a heap of sh#t 🤣👍
