As someone who has had one eye removed at a fairly young age I can relate to the story being scary. It does become a lot more difficult to play games such as trackmania, rocket league etc, but as long as you're staying safe and having fun everything is good :D
Some people define "Drunk" as stupor (0.2 to 0.4), while others will say they're drunk at the 0.08 (usually 4 drinks of 8% beer for your average "hearty" American male)
@@ThomasPlaysTheGames American here, I'd say that at 5 beers you start to go from buzzed to drunk, not fully drunk til at least past 6. That's just my experience tho
I had stye eye in my right upper lid, but I got rid of it using hot packs of black tea bags pressed on top of it. Took 4-5 days but I got rid of it completely. No surgery needed. I caught mine early before it developed fully underneath the lid. The process below: 1. Once every hour or two, get a black tea bag and prepare it like you would normal tea without other additives. Use only the bag. 2. You will use one or two tea bags a day. Reuse the bag every hour or two to help the affected area. 2. Wait until tea is warm, close your affected eye and press use the bag on the affected area. 3. The bag will get colder, then dip and press again until completed 10 times. 4. The goal isn't to burn your skin, if its too hot for you to handle then it's too hot. 5. Use eye drops only when you feel something is on your eye.

My dad is an eye doctor, so we got to have fun dinner events like watching videos of cataract surgeries. Good stuff. FYI an eye doctor is called an optometrist. They do general checkups and spend more time with the kinds of patients who need glasses. They will usually recommend you to a specialist if treatment requires something more invasive than eye drops. An eye surgeon is called an opthalmologist. They have a lot of the same training, so they can still do regular eye appointments like an optometrist. However, their skill set is valuable enough that they are paid more than twice as much (some of these guys make one million dollars a year by busting out cataract surgeries dozens of times per day), so you often won't spend as much time with the doctor if you have a regular eye appointment in an opthalmologist's office.

Took a bit of a toll on my feeling of self-worth back then, and didn’t have the feeling I belonged where I was. I had noone to relate to. Years later I’m doing just fine and managed to gain some respect for being the guy who can always be relied on to be a safe driver. But if someone would have said to me back then what you said in this video it could have genuinely helped me through a tough time. I guess this video came out several years too late for me, but my inner 14 year old just shed a little tear of releif. Thanks riolu

People were saying the name of the eye surgeon is ophthalmologist but the specialist name that does surgery on the eye and surrounding areas is Oculoplastic Surgeon. Ophthalmology is just a collective word for doctors working with eye and vision, but they could be also for example a neurologist.
I know here in Argentina people say to rub something made from gold (like a ring) with your hand until it gets warm and then put in the stye. But I don't really know its efectiveness and if it works if the stye is really bad.

I was referring to the 'Trackmania School' (aka TMS) campaign, accessible with standard and club access. It's built much better and goes much more in-depth into core techniques and strategies.
i also had a stye removed this year. had it for 2 months and it was so noticeable because it had tried to burst, but it was at a thicker part of my eyelid and had nowhere to escape. so it was just big and red. finally went to a specialist and got it cut out. i hated that stye so much
While you cannot compare COTD with TMGL whatsoever, I do believe Granady proved himself to be worthy of a TMGL spot in the near future. I'm really rooting for him to snack a spot for the next season :D
That depends on many factors. Things like upload schedule, whether the video needs further editing or not and other time-related aspects all come into play.
I have had 3 surgeries regarding styes. It is so annoying because it feels kinda unnecessary. The needle though to me felt like it was stabbed from underneath the eye right into it even though it wasn´t.
I never laughed while someone told a story of their eye injury... Also imagine being 25 years old, not liking sushi, never been drunk, living in Manchester Nrw Ger and having your eye spooned out because of Gerstenkörners while being one of the best tm players... Seems like a remarkable life to me.

Had an injury on my forehead once. I landed on an edge of a table and my forehead started bleeding. Went to the doctor straight afterwards, and they also used needles. But I also didn't feel anything really and was just like:" Do what you want, I just wanna get out of here..."😂
Fuck, just noticed that I just recently had a "Gerstenkern"! Luckily it healed by itself. The human body is weird, every second you could find out that you need to go to a doctor.
