I've been down for so long and I'll admit that this is the first time I've felt overwhelmed by his presence for a very long time. Thank you Jesus! Thank you Aretha and thanks to you for using this video as a vessel for worship!
Oh honey, I’m so grateful God used this video to remind you of His ever-constant presence. I pray you continue to lean into Him, feeling His comfort and strength through the darkness you’ve been feeling and that His presence overwhelms you with hope, goodness, mercy, and light 🙏
I was lucky enough to go on a whim to see her live at a small casino in Indiana about a decade ago. About the third song in, she exited the stage. Came back and said she just wanted to ditch the set list and "take us all to church." She took off her heels and sat at the piano and just killed it for 45 minutes after. Unreal. Such a legend.
I'm seeing this a year later, but your reaction became a personal experience for me. I purchased this on vinyl in 1985, and was blown away by Aretha's interpretation of every song on the entire album. God works in ways that transcends time. Your reaction video was proof of that. Thanks for sharing. You have a new subscriber.
Your video was so powerful I had to watch it a few more times this morning. Ms. Franklin having her hand behind her back is recognized as a servitudinal position. Then Rev. Cleveland joins her, thereby stating that he too serves the Lord with her. The most wonderful point of this video is when we get home, we three can cry together and revel in he Lord as we actually look upon Him! Take care dear lady.
Sweet Anthony. I just had a chance to read your other messages along with this one. Thank you so much for your kind and generous words. I’m truly humbled by them. I do look forward to celebrating the goodness of the Lord with all of my brothers and sisters in Christ once we arrive in the most perfect of places. Thank you so much for your prayers. You are a blessing and I am full of gratitude 🙏❤️
I can tell you the one thing I would do when I travel to US I would get in there to see it by myself as a non religious person, cause I like gospel music and everything I saw from it it is a experience. I would kindly ask if I can witness smth like that :D
Girl this is called Gospel. this is how we do it. Some things you just can't break down technically. You just need to listen and let it be. These feelings are from the ancestors.
Love this genuine reaction not only to the artist and her singing but also to the presence of the Holy Spirit. So few people understand the love of god and his desire for the world to experience what we know and feel when communing with the creator of all things especially that part of our being that can only be satisfied by its creator.
Hear me on this! I bought this album as a teenager when it was first released!! I played over and over and over...I distinctly remember thinking each and every time I played it, wishing I could have been THERE when this was recorded, thinking what it would have been like, must have been like to to see this in person. ONLY GOD KNEW how strong my desire was !! FIFTY YEARS later he answered my prayer with the release of the DVD of the ENTIRE production, recorded over two nights!!! How is that for answering the prayer/desire of my heart??!! YES, it was 50 years later AND unfortunately, after Ms. Aretha had passed on BUT it was worth waiting for. THANK YOU JESUS for loving, and caring about what concerns me AND ANSWERING MY PRAYER! I have watched my DVD of this recording so many times, I've lost count...bought several and gave as gifts. TRULY A HISTORICAL GOSPEL EVENT AND EXPERIENCE!!!❤❤❤
Ok here I go , I made an account just to comment on this video. Im 28 years of age and from Sweden , growing up I had no connection to God or believing. God will show us purpose through our pain. And to know this video led you to open the Bible, to develop a deeper relationship with Him through His Word, wow, I’m truly humbled.
@@Tarasimonstudios yah it was just a weird emotional day for me missing some people close to me. Clearly Arethas the goat but no one sees the struggle and pain that it takes to build greatness. they only see the finished product. You gave me more appreciation to her and to god.
That’s the power of gospel music for you. Oh Aretha was given such a gift and that gift was to uplift people with the voice of Heaven! What an inspirational and soul stirring video here. You definitely cannot help but be captivated here. RIP Aretha.
Tara, that was truly beautiful. I was not aware of Aretha’s story either. That rendition was full of pain. I wept with you.. thinking of my past struggles and triumphs. That was very powerful and much appreciated. My heart is full, thank you Aretha and James Cleveland.
What an absolute precious moment! This is the essence of humanity. Raw, sincere emotions! Thank you for introducing me to this great example of why she’s the “queen of soul”!
That's what makes a powerful singer, overcoming and being able to sing about it and relay the message. Hallelujah Jesus!! She's not my favourite but she is the Queen who has blazed the trail for so many other singers!! ❤️🌟

I have heard many wonderful, gifted singers in my 60 plus years. But I have only heard one Aretha!
Aretha Franklin is my all time favorite Vocalist, Songwriter. Her suffering and ability to overcome is worthy to be recognized and shared. Because of her beautiful Soul and the energy she has left behind, She is a living testimony. Thank you for this post ❤️❤️🖤🖤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This is a performance from the 2018's documentary call "Amazing Grace". The medley between Precious Lord/You've got a friend is also remarcable, you should react to it.
Okay Tara, at THIS moment I discovered your passion for music❤️🥺. Your reaction is just stunning to me, and I can feel you over here! I’m a ⛪️ lover to, so I get U🙏🏻. Your heart is made of gold, and big as the ocean ❤️. Thanks again Tara🥰
More of this please! You’ve got to hear Arethas Franklins live performances in her last years when she was fighting cancer. Her voice was still as strong and powerful as ever.
Tara, I saw Aretha several times during the 70s in Los Angeles. Even when she did secular songs you felt she was bringing you to church. She brought the house down with that powerful voice and accompanied herself on the piano. Talent like this is rare. She sang jazz, pop and soul. All equally wonderful.
By far, this is my favorite reaction of yours! To hear you ( or anyone ) magnify the Lord blesses my soul. I came to the at the age of 46. I am now 70. I've seen so many miracles, heard Him speak to me and much more but the greatest is when I am in His presence! I've lived alone for more than 20 years now but am never really alone. Every day He lets me know He is here with me. Many times we just fellowship with much joy. Loved this one young lady!
Tara, this video lifts me up. Now talk about praising the Lord , you touched my heart as much as Aretha did. Of course, Aretha , Masterfully , delivered her story and that church was filled with the Holy Spirit. Amazing Grace is one of my favorites. For those that love the Lord , I can see Him in you. His light surrounds you. Awesome video, heartfelt reaction that transcended to all of us. So glad I found your videos. I can't sing a note in tune, but I learn so so much from you. Thank you!

The thing About Aretha is that she seem with a conviction and transcendent quality that just makes you know she believes there is something deeper and beyond her and life and that you cannot learn❤
Such a unbelievably beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace.. More than often, this classic is sung, with standard tempo and melody and appreciated for the song it is and the given the respect it commands and I feel like for choice of better words it is taken for granted. Miss Franklin, here, takes her time, off tempo, having pondered and internalized and connected with the words and meaning of the phrases, filled with emotion and let's her heart and voice tell the story of the Amazing Grace of God, as she feels it. No doubt many were humbled and filled with the spirit and tears streaming down cheeks bearing witness to her testimony. Breathtakingly Superb ❤️❤️
I am so honored to have watched a little of ur review..seeing and feeling ur love for OUR GREAT GOD..and lifting ur hands to Jesus in worship mode..God bless u sister for offering God's connection to ur platform....may God keep u always!
Tara, that is the iconic Rev. James Cleveland speaking and playing. Aretha’s album, Amazing Grace is also iconic from her African outfit to the fabulous songs such as her versions of “Mary Don’t You Weep” and “Bridge Over Troubled Waters.” Aretha Franklin was a child prodigy (singing & musicianship) - May she Rest in Power.
Thanks for sharing Tara and I completely agree. Moving and stirring woman. As a side note, the pianist was a very famous artist in his own right James Cleveland!
This album and documentary is the best live music i 've ever heard and seen. I play it now and again when i ever i feel like it. It is a gift for a lifetime.
Tara, I love watching your reactions. They are so real, in the case of this video/performance, they're so raw. You let us see how they make you feel. Your reaction to Miss Aretha's performance really shows how the power of God can transcend time, distance, even the death of the performer.
Oh wow, you broke down crying. Which made me cry. I usually avoid Aretha Gospel songs, bc I'm gon' be left in a puddle of tears. Her voice was anointed.
Probably one of the most powerful reactions to this! I remember watching this whole concert 2 years ago when they put it out. I had just had my wisdom teeth pulled and i still hollered and cut my step through all of it! There will never be another rendition of Amazing Grace like this 🔥🙌🏼

Love you Ms.Tara what a song and what a testimony that touched my heart and yours .Thanks for this reaction I need to cry today. Depressed over this surgery that I had Love you and Jaden to the moon and back
That man is the legendary James Cleveland. He was a legend in his own right. He has written many gospel songs that are very well know and staples in black churches.
You stated everything beautifully. I would love to see you react to christian artists or worship songs more. I'm sure even nonbelievers who watch you would enjoy it! Love you, my sister in Christ 💕
Wow! This is your best reaction video to date. Saw the Amazing Grace documentary a couple of years ago and I loved every moment of it when Aretha was at the top of her game.
I've been a strong believer for a long time but watching this--- I just about broke down in tears. He is always with us and will never leave us nor forsake is. I needed that reminder today. I've been in a really dark place for so long and this was a light. Thank you, Tara, for using this video as a vessel to others. So inspiring!
Caitlin, I don’t know what you’re going through but I pray you continue to feel the Lord’s presence during this dark season you are in. I’m humbled to know God used me and this video to remind you of His constant love for you. I pray the ashes you’ve been carrying are exchanged for the beauty of better days ahead 🙏

Tara, I watched your video 11 months after you posted it. As you said, our Lord transcends time. I can hear and see this video from almost 1 year ago, but I too felt the Holy Spirit in my room while watching. I too was crying so heavily. Partly because of the message in the singing, seeing the congregations spirit and also seeing you pour out your beautiful heart in a plea for people to invite Jesus into their hearts. But the most powerful reason for my emotions is, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and FOREVER Amen. You and I cried watching this video, because WE WERE together in the presence of the Almighty King of Kings. He Loves us SO much that when we cry, He wants us to bear each others burdens, sorrows and tears of joy when we connect with Him and become enveloped in the arms of His Pure Love. Watching the pure power of your video, had an effect on me like never before while viewing videos. I must say Tara, you so Blessed me! OH how I would absolutely, unequivocally LOVE to worship with you at a church service one day! Tara, I know that probably won't happen here. BUT, when we get home, The Lord will allow me to embrace you in my arms and together we will cry Hallelujahs to our amazing Lord! May God continue to Bless you in every beat or your heart and every step you take in life. I WILL be praying for you daily. If you ever need prayer, just let your heart reach out. I'll be there. With Agape Love, sincerely Anthony
Tara, I love your true and open expression of emotions in reacting to this video!! Thank you for your openness and being willing to let your true inner feelings come forth!!

Crying is real.🙏😭 I feel this moment when I watched your reaction miss Tara.❤️God bless.🥺

Love you Lady!! Thank you for sharing your heart and your knowledge with us
@@Tarasimonstudios Amen. Thank you so much. This is a verse for you if you are going through a difficult time right now. "Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him." Psalm 126:5-6 🥰🙏
Ummmm I just stumbled across your channel and my lord Jesus, did you make me cry with you watching this! As soon as you raised your hand I knew you were a believer of Jesus! Probably my best video on UA-cam to date xx Jesus is king!!!
Awee. Thank u. That means so much to me. All glory to Him 🙏❤️
Thank you so very much my sister in Christ . I Loved this , and your pure Reaction. Again thank you . I PRAISE JESUS ✝️🙏🏻👏🏻🙌 , from 💔 to this 💝 thank you KING JESUS 👑
I cried right along with with you !! Just beautiful !!!!!! 🥹❤️
Thank you for sharing this video and the message of Jesus’ love for all. Blessings to you Tara!
