Thanks for the review I've been waiting for somebody to post one for awhile. Furthermore I would like to thank you for giving tips on how to use these effects. I have the dark magic and the superhero packs. I am sure there are ways to have fun with them. Just kinda got uninspired. So hearing the suggestions. Really got me like let's see what I can do.
For simple shots, Musikvideos or easy comps where you need to fast output content it’s wonderful. But the more you get into dynamic camera shots you will loose parallax and perspective with those assets. This does not mean it’s bad, but it’s limited which can be good at the beginning, but the more you step forward in filmmaking you want to do those Fx individual and unique. :-) thanks for your comment.
@@IDAVFX hey! Thanks for replying, so I bought the subscription called Makeifbigfilms and when I download the file it goes to my download but it does not show up in my effects and presets tab. I import from the download in chrome but some of the effects are not showing up properly only the black hole effect from the space program worked for me unfortunately. I do know what Iam doing wrong. I feel like the file is not downloading in the right format some show up as quick time and some as zip files. Your video is thorough but I know it’s my lack of AE knowledge and probably how my computer set up is as well
I mean, what do you expect Fraser? Its static camera, you can add it to tracked footage, but you are caught inside the preset, so the way to use it limited. But for some limitations are the way to go, it gives safety and direction.
@@IDAVFX Interesting take. I was thinking something similar--choosing the proper action FX, then tailoring my shots to better flow with the FX. In all honesty though, I'm not making any films, but am just a content creator and a rather bad one at that. 🤣 My range is rather limited, but I'm a weirdo, so I will find a way to work in some of the more destructive and gory things. ✊

@@IDAVFX ok so that part I under stand but After I import them what if the file is all black and there is not media playing?
@@IDAVFX omg yes! I will add you and message you later.
This is an awesome vid. I went to the site but I didn't see the space requirements.
You purchase the package and download the files which are very large
@@IDAVFX Thanks
Can I use any of these packs with Capcut PC?
I think yes - as they are quicktimes with alpha
seeing it like that really makes it seem like a toy and not something for professional use
there are also toys for professionals ;)
