I saw Europe live twice this October and Def Leppard/Motley Cure in July and Europe were far superior. Again the most underrated Rock band on the planet. Cant wait for what comes next.
One of the greatest 80’s anthem of all time, this song is a FM rádio masterpiece, this song is part of my DNA ! When grunge came around I absolutely hated it kill the music I loved it was a very weird time all those depressing looking kids wearing this old beaten up clothes with unwashed hair down they eyes it was horrible! I only started to like Grunge after the 2000’s when it made remember my teenage years but back then when Grunge I absolutely hated it !!! 80’s had some of the best music ever , Guns’n’Roses , Bon Jovi , Tears for fears , dire straits , ZZTOP KILLA music , the final countdown to me is the ultimate 80’s hair metal anthem not even Van Hanley made anything equal nobody did , it’s a masterpiece 80’s Rock anthem

Not in my favourite top10 Europe songs but have to thank it for introducing me to this amazing live band. Wow still have them cool jackets from tfc tour would love one of those..To me this documentary seems a little sad at the time of filming as though it was the end of Europe fortunately it wasn't.
Here's something I noticed about Joey's TFC tour jackets, Ste....in 1986 & 1987, he used 2 types of jackets. One type was what we saw him wear in the TFC music video, with arrows on the shoulders, while the second type were stripes that went down the sides & in the front of the garments. Both the Arrows & Stripes jackets had the same color schemes, among 3 jackets per series. The schemes were white on black, black on white, and black on red. The red jackets would likely have been used less frequently compared to the white and black ones. Again, just something that caught my eye in the video footage I saw from that era of EUROPE's history. =)
It’s truly sad that they are not promoted in the US. We have such over saturation with all the same and generic sound with flashy glitter, just miss a quality sound and talent.
"Single luck" sounds like a mockery to Europe, it sounds as if the band was a One hit wonder...If The final countdown had never existed "Carrie" or "Rock the night" would have succeeded anyway.
Joey why you singing it so LOW? near the start? even I can sign it higher and while doing it softly ,I know you an do better even if it is a documentary lol, love the band though overall one of my Top faves! You guys never write bad songs ever! Me too Joey I recorded my demos while my family slept until 4-5 am but I never got success not due to lack of quality, timing maybe lol!
It is stupid that Final Countdown is Europe's the most famous song, because they have a lot of much better rock songs. This song is keyboards based shit but people admire a lot of shit... The first time I heard this song was when I was in the first class primary school.
