definitely one of my fav tracks on the album. I loved it from the moment I heard the beat and didn't even know 9th produced it. black album is classic.
Jay z has always been an influence and a inspiration, on and in my life. I really admire and respect him on so many levels. He has done so much for our pop culture from his music, to his fashion and his business accumanm is very savey. I've followed his career from the beginning, and I am still impressed by his style and his mannerism. The way he conducts himself as a person it is to be admired, not many artist can do what he's done, and to maintain the level of success and do it consistently speaks volumes. I tip my hat to you sir, because you're living proof of what turning a negative to positive can be if you apply yourself. May Yahweh continuously to bless you and your entire family in Jesus name I pray.... amen. ...
Next to 99 Problems, this was the best beat on the album. And has held up really well after 10 years. Your new cats Hitboy, Mike Will, Young Chop et al wont even be relevant by 2015, if that
I dont necessary agree with the ppl you named, but i do agree with ur statement. This newer generation of producers just dont have the feeling n soul in their production. N u dont necessarily have to sample soul 2 have a soulful sound neither
***** exactly. A lot of dudes have no soul. But I don't really blame them because 'soul' isn't whats selling. Dumb, non-creative shit's selling across the board. So it is what it is.
Not going to lie, I am a producer and this sample idk how he caught the chops. R kelly was talking on the whole track so idk how he managed to chop it up to extract the melody.
Yeah, Timbaland is the guy, but I’m not buying that! I remember 9th wonder made Jay z’s threat in 25 minutes using fruity loops 20 YEARS AGO, when it wasn’t the FL Studio you know today. At the end of the day, a DAW is just a tool to reach a desired result. If you understand it well, you can pretty much not be restricted in what you want to do.
Bro Black Album is nowhere near underrated unless you started listening to hip hop in the last 15 years. I remember it like yesterday. it was HUGE. Jay-z's supposed last album? Encore, Change CLothes. No disrespect but it is the standard in Jay-z's catalogue and followed the Blueprint which was just a classic album. Jay-Z ...uff lost for words. What a character.

9th Wonder is a genius producer. He doesn't get nearly enough love as one of the all time greats as he should.
The Haven I hope he gets his flowers soon
I never get tired of hearing this story...This brotha is an inspiration to many...Peace and Blessings 9th..
this is amazing he took 20 mins to do that beat jay took one month to do the Black Album wowwww
I feel like threats is the best beat 9th made no lie this shit go so hard
You should listen to spesh by 9th wonder
Destiny Child’s “Girl” is another classic
Lovin it
9th is so humble. I can feel he just loves music. That grey album Threat remix was a problem sad I can’t find it

POP CULTURE ??????? You mean THE HIP HOP CULTURE def NOT POP CULTURE.
My favorite track off the Black Album
It's crazy that in 20 minutes he created which I think is his best beat.
Never

One of the best jay z tracks all time. Bar for bar. All stunts no dummys.
This guy is my hero. Nothing's impossible.
One of my favourite tracks from Jay Z. 9th Wonder take a bow.

@@villy4556 I thought it was Eddie Griffin. Lool
Does anyone know where you can see those clips of 9th in the studio with Jay and Guru?
Jay Z "Fade to black
Lets be honest, R Kelly produced this beat. 9th wonder just looped a few bars of it and added some drums.

What’s the sample?? Anyone know?
A women’s threat - r Kelly
Classic.
It was really Kirk Franklin making the threats in this song
No it was Cedric the Entertainer
epic
nice
Jay-Z takes relatively mid-level producers and makes them into superstars by mentioning their names on a record.
9th a mid-level producer? 😂😂
#classic
9th Wonder is Brilliant! Black Album ... most underrated Album ever!

@@Ayo.Ajisafe the black album is his second best selling album, the word "underrated" is not really appropriate to this album.
