WCAU rocked when they switched to Top 40 format. I listened religiously to this station on my transistor and I became extremely knowledgeable of the Billboard Hot 100. I like cut #9 the best. When 98 became WOGL, oldies format, I liked 98 much more and I listened to it for decades until they started playing the 1990s music.
I grew up in San Francisco listening to Hot Hits 105 KITS, to this day I believe it's the only station west of Chicago that used this Hot Hits format. I try to get my hands on any KITS aircheck I can find lol. I hope Ellis will post some KITS here soon!
@@rsands9 I have the means to convert it, you need a cassette deck, an audio in RCA cable or RCA input at one end of the audio cable and a USB input at the other end of cable. A program that converts analog to WAV files or mp3.
Would love to hear some jingles from Baltimore, if you have anymore than what I have already on this channel. I’ve always loved a Jammin’ Jingle !!! Thank you very much sir I sure appreciate that I have found these. Former major market on-air personality. - Keith 👍👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice jingle package, but this was basically just a straight rebrand of TM's five-year-old (at the time) Actualizers package. Seems strange that they'd play it up as if it were new,
Thank you Ellis. Your channel is the first I subscribed to and the best one for me.
This takes me back to my early teenage years! Terry Young ‘the Motor Mouth’! GREAT stuff! Thanks for sharing!
Been binging on airchecks today, so this is how I will end my "broadcasting day" @ 1:47 CST! Goodnight and Good morning!👍
Old Philly radio, love it. Miss it living in Orlando now
Yep, nothing like it man!
It's the package that Mike Joseph wanted on the stations he consulted in the early 80s.
IMO these "hot hits" jingles could make you fall asleep! I can't believe they were popular!
