im 19 and have never been in a relationship but I agree, especially because of how shallow a lot of people are now. But not just that it seems most people out there either just want sexual interaction or they want the other partner to give most of their attention and time to them. I just cant put my focus on one person like that and I have goals in my life Im trying to achieve. A relationship just seems like it would get in the way of those things and slow me down, and I really dont care to be labeled as selfish or something for wanting to focus on myself and my life and I dont want to deal with managing my time like that
