Hammann II is an Edsall class DE, so they're not out of the realm of possibilities. I originally envisioned it like a Blue Cruiser or Bunny Dtriker for Johnston, spawned by a skill and providing extra fp, torpedoes, and maybe even some sort of taunt, if possible, extending Johnston's survivability.

This would explain why whenever I see her at low HP she is still alive and in fact healing up really fast, making her so hard to sink. I checked her stats and found out its one of her abilities you can increase even further. A very interesting fact and good education about the real life Laffey II :) Here's a like👍 Laffey is my starter ship and seeing the new form of her UR self having actual facts and history of real life is great. Never knew this until now.
