Hi Jason, yes we do have more driving / safety films in the collection. Also motorcycle safety which we will be uploading soon. Thanks for your comments.
The Film Australia complex was based in Lindfield. Therefore the North Shore was a convenient location for many of their films. Other viewers have identified similar locations throughout the series, although some have also found locations in Queensland.
You post them, we'll watch them. I wish I could say that I'm from Australia. But the rules for safety here in North America are similar, the only obvious difference is that we drive on the right side of the road, while you drive on the left side.
I look forward to it. As important as these videos are, I also enjoy them as well. Hopefully, there are more safety videos you can come up with. Keep up the good work.
Would love to know where these were filmed. I have a feeling Chatswood station was shot in the first minute of this video. In Episode 4 I noticed Archbold Road in Roseville was shown.
I agree. I've seen drivers who think they're not required to share the road, they usually weave back and forth between lanes, causing accidents with other drivers and becoming a danger to themselves in the process. Is this the final video in this series or is there more to this?
I've had pedestrians shoot into the road, and I've come this close to hitting them. Bloody near gave me a heart attack! Pedestrians need to watch what's in the road before they enter the roadway.
I remember seeing these as a kid in school in the 80's! Thanks very much for putting these up, lots of memories :)

Love it!! Love seeing the old cars
Exceptionally scored to capture the fine music of the times. Unfortunately these days we seem to be smothered with Idol type formula.
Hi episode nine will be posted soon. Please keep watching.

Episode 8 of 9. This episode does feel like it might be a final wrap up but there is one more on freeway driving.

Yes, only one more episode in this series.
Hi dolanzz thanks for the info. Very helpful.

Please do you have video on road marking.
Missing old times...
Wonder where all the drivers and cars came from - the same people and vehicles right through the series. Some of the faces look familiar.

We need to have a conversation around making reversing out of driveways illegal.
Wasn't that a young Rolf Harris at 0:55?
Agreed!
Lol! I think he would have been a fair bit older then -even in 1973.

Don’t forget that many pedestrians these days are people with a disability and their families, caregivers or support workers.
Where's the railway crossing?
There's no way I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that . 0:22
😂
@@Jo_Wardy you know what I'm saying how.. 🤣
Back when you had to really drive cars and not be assisted. Haha by extra technology.
I'm glad we don't have cars like that anyone.
Speak for yourself, they're all generic now.
I would rather them cars any day to today's Tupperware cars.
Cars like this are way better then todays plastic containers filled with wires and computers.
