Great video again Chris. Come across a pentax k1000 the other week to have a play with. It's a camera my dad used to have many moons ago, so it brought back a few memories when I saw it for sale.
I love playing with old gear it’s just so much more hands on than cameras you can go out and buy. I think you mentioned this camera before. I had a look and was tempted to grab one myself 😆
Enjoyed the video. Lovely images. I bought a Helios I guess a year ago now. It was on ebay from Russia right as the war broke out over there. It's such a fun lens to use. It's in my top 3 for sure. I like to use it on my Pemtax K10D and K-5. Both have unique sensors that complement the lens well
It’s a lovely lens when the bokeh kicks off isn’t it. Can be a little tricky at times to find the right separation but for such a cheap lens the results are great

You know I think I could have done better with it. There was just too much going on and the tree was too big. Fun lens to use though 🤘🏻

It’s a good fun little buy. Not one for every day use but nice to get out now and then.
excellent upload, I'm a tad confused though at 7:11 it appears you have a canon 24-105mm i may be wrong though and if so apologise!
No you’re right. I was swapping the 2 lenses around for video. Easier to just keep it on the camera than get it out the bag.
Are you using the 5d or the 7d? Could you talk about why you use one or the other?
This was the 5D. I don’t really have a reason or preference to which camera I take out.
