It's not about training. It's about not hiring thugs.

even nice ones can just not have the mind to consider situations like this... probably because some departments literally refuse to hire above average iq

awww what a nice cop. She was calm, assessed the situation without hastingly ignoring the person's say in the matter, listened and understood the situation. I also like that the son also cared for him to pick the phone and go get the old dude. The world still has it's light.

Cops aren’t that kind when they pull you over.

@@chairmanofthebored8684 ok legit. I was with my cousins doing a road-trip to visit our aunt. it was a very long trip and we got stopped by the police. No questions asked, they just took us out and put us with our hands to our heads. Then a teenage girl appeared and said that was her car, we deny it but since the dude was a young police, the hormones kicked in and they didn't listen to us. they took us to the police station and our car was taken.
LUCKLY there was another cop who was already an adult and we just met, so I asked him if we could make a call. We called our aunt and she said that was indeed our car, she brought photos of the family with the car's license plate. We managed to get home but we didn't have a car so we stayed like 4 days in my aunt's house until they brought the car back.
we never got told the details of why the teenage girl took our car or said it was hers (we were already afraid to get in more trouble or involved if we were to ask so we just took the car and let bygones be bygones).
It doesn't matter what they pull you for or how much you complicate the process. They have more power over a civilian, thus they can do whatever they want as long as they have backup. THERE ARE good cops, however the good cops from what i've seen are mostly patrollers of a certain area, and even they can be awful. Bad cops are usually the most seen, vocal and common in this li'l island at least.
No one is safe from framing or police abuse or discrimination. You just gotta be lucky and hope that they don't get you or that you get a good cop to help you.
