dude your the greatest, the industry wants every one to buy the latest and greatest but the true talent comes from making the cheap stuff look good...thanks for your valuable info!
The late Bruce Lee once said, "To hell with circumstances, I make opportunities". And you make opportunities for people who can't buy the best and most expensive gear. Thank you ☺️
10:12 - "Cameras hotshoes the world over get scared when they see me coming. Heh Heh Heh." HA! HA! HA! I love that shirt! Samsung makes some awesome cameras. Markus, you and Cara are both such awesome people! It's really nice to know you, as much (or little) as I do. You're very caring and giving people. If the world was more like you two, it would be such a more beautiful place. Thank you for all you do. Incidentally, I was the winner of the Sony Lumix GX8 you gave away, and I L-O-V-E it! I just had a great time shooting with it yesterday. I think it's called perspective shooting, where I shot a model car and a small Belle doll next to it, and it looked life-size, with cars in the background. That was my first time shooting like that. I now have 6 lenses for it. One of them is a 35mm CCTV lens I got new for $30 online. It definitely creates a different look. The GX8 is my first mirrorless camera, and I am so impressed with all of its great features. I'm really enjoying the camera you gave me. I just hope and pray that I sent you a Thank You card or letter. It really meant a lot to me, and I enjoy shooting with it all the time. I even keep it on my desk and play with it while I'm sitting here. I have a lot of photos of my room, sitting at my desk. Thanks again!
Be gone evil spirits! Haha. Thank you for my Saturday morning smile, as always! Been missing the videos of your random little things, it's been a little while! (I've probably said it 50 times, but it's just fact, I love little things too, they're just fun and sometimes comically excellent)
thank you for these videos markus! i've researched portable lights before but you provide more information in this video than a hundred other reviews combined!
You are officially my go to "Inspector Gadget". Your mindset of small and compact yet versatile that delivers is brilliant and unique. I love your UA-cam channel and always look forward to watching every one of them! Thank you "Inspector!"
Wonderfull sentiment... your videos have content not only form... are well presented and educate .....entertain, inform, educate...always an informative time with Marcus....Thank you for sharing your knowledge.... Robert
side note this man not only inspired me to get my first camera in 10+ years (canon m-50) but my first portrait lens (sigma 30mm) along with a field monitor though I didn't get the exact one he mentioned I choose (FW759 7 Inch) 9side note of having to get a compatible HDMI cable. another note to remember to buy a battery for it as it does not come with one. but also I got a cage for my M50 and a dummy battery so I could attach a battery mount. and let me tell you. the stock battery that comes with the m50 lasts about an hour under continuous shooting. but the dummy battery and a power bank I got 4-5 hours easy and could have gone for more but I was running out of light and it's just been a fun week. so thank you, Markus. you're a gift to this youtube community. and I can tell you just have fun sharing all these tips, tricks, and all-around advice from your personal experience.
Another helpful video, Markus. I’ve seen the expanding offering of small led lights and the vastness of the selection tends to to be paralyzing. Your walking us through the options is sooo helpful. Thank you!
i have been suffering from servere depression for the last 3 months, i can not describe how much joy these videos bring me. i know better times wil come but thank you for excisting markus
I mostly film in my studio so I never have need of little lights, but someday when I get the courage to leave my house I know I'll be thinking of buying some little lights to help light my subjects. Great resource for tiny lights. Thanks for sharing as always...
I’ve been using that same $21 Neewer LED, for filming wild, southern Indiana caves, with my Canon XA10. It does a great job for tight places, huge bang for the buck, though it’s a little bulky on the hot shoe. Having watched this video, that Pavotube II might really help me with filling in larger cave rooms, especially since you can change brightness and color on the fly. Seeing you stack them, side by side, opens up a lot of possibilities! Thanks again for another great video, with awesome tips I can use!
🎥 whenever I see the next great new camera, your Videos remind me, that the best way to get started, is to start with the equipment you already have. Thanks for your inspiring videos 👍
I'm generally using my other channel to browse youtube, I thought you quit youtube. Man am i glad you still post these wonderful videos. These are such a joy to watch.
Perfect timing on this small-light video! I need to rig lighting a 12"x12" (30x30 cm) fields for remote robot programming and your roundup gives me the quick hands on comparisons that's so difficult online or store-to-store. All I need to check is AC power input. Thank you.
Love your passion mate 👍 I have been amassing portable battery powered lights for a while, so this was great confirmation. The Samsung NX Mini was a discovery, thanks! Peace !
Marcus your videos are always so cool practical and ingenious jeez.I did my first no budget feature with just clamp lights with spot lights and diffused with plastic bags haha it worked and looked good . at times i still use clamp lights and white plastic bags till this day. Haha. I love your baby LED s here I will now add them . I also loved your mesh fabric window treatments .by the way it is so cool your an artist . these days because if covid. I m doing an animation . Because i Don t want anyone getting sick or dying on my set
Great vid,,,I needed to be reminded & nice to see a bunch of solutions all at once.! Lighting is the next issue to tackle in my shop/studio for my channel Be well & have Fun Markus
Those NX mini cameras are so cool, il have to get one before you buy them all MarkusPix; Great lights and so many variations WOW...Really enjoy all your super COOL vids no matter what you do.... Take Care...
Man Markus you are the best! These light videos are awesome! I just picked up the Wellmaking light and aperture fresnel lens from your other video and I’m so happy with it! Thank you for everything you do! 🙏
I've been using the Neewer 160 for years at home. I have 3 of them. Bought an AC adapter so I have power. I have their thin 176 for travel. Love those lights.
I'm addicted to lights and gadgets. I have light bars, Bluetooth leds, lume cubes... And when I go out and shoot I'm 99% of the time shooting natural light lol. One day I'm going to sell everything and just shoot with my cellphone.
very good review, just what i have been looking for. i have bought a few led lights but looking for better ones. didnt even no there was this many on the market.
Every time Markus is presenting something, i have to buy at least one of them. I simply don't have more space now... I still have to buy another NX mini...
Markus for some reason I have never seen this video despite I discovered your channel in 2021. I came here because you linked this one in the new video. Regards
Hey Murkus, thanks for more great Content! I'm just getting into photography and videography and I've learned a ton from your vids. My goal is to keep all my equipment as small, portable and easy to use as possible. I recently purchased the Osmo pocket 2 creator kit because it seemed affordable, small and versatile. I and I think many others would love your thoughts on the camera for vlogging b-roll etc, as well as tips and tricks. Thanks again sharing your knowledge and experience!
I remember using my Coleman light that had four removable hand sized lights on it's sides for a shoot. Replacing the batteries cost more than the light.
really interesting.. I have that cold shoe Godox light, I bought it for video but my Nikons are difficult for me to focus. Now I use it for indoor photos. for me this light works better than a flash.
Hey Markus, I highly recommend the Invisii G2 RGB video light. Super powerful and long lasting, moves into any position and has special effects. I think it would be right up your Alley! Let me know what you think k. Was waiting for your next video, glad to see you back. :)
Great video! I bought 3 mini lights last week, similar to many of these and you are right...so many to chose from. Pleased with my purchases, but now I may add a few more. Loved the small closet light option as well! Looking forward to many more small camera (or camcorder?) videos. Any from models still made?
It costs me money every time I watch one of your videos, because I want to buy all the cool stuff!
The reason why i like this channel, tinny cool stuff that delivers big.
About half the time I go to the hardware store I'm looking for ideas rather than some specific product. Can't help loving videos like this.

It is so cool when you mount three PavoTube II 6C as a "T"! One more creative way to use it! Thanks for sharing! 🙌🙌🙌

This really is my favorite UA-cam channel. Thanks for all the work you put into it
great creativity + tons of things with (seemingly) small individual utility = infinite possibilities 😎
You know your stuff and don't BS. Excellent. Thanks 👍☺️
Thanks Markus. Love the little Samsung Mini. I'm going to purchase one. Thanks a bunch for having fun with us.
as a non-pro I enjoy your videos immensely. Practical advice for all budgets.
I bought 4 of the Neewer lights years ago when they first came out. Still use them to this day. Keep having fun!
Your channel is probably one of the best I've found here in a long long time.
i have been suffering from servere depression for the last 3 months, i can not describe how much joy these videos bring me. i know better times wil come but thank you for excisting markus
Try micro dosing psilocybin
Just ordered some of your products. Started a new healthy lifestyle last month. I feel so great! Glad I found you.
Love the variety of lights... 3 of those I had not seen before... thanks so much for the fun demos/quick reviews!
Amazing. I really like that you where filming with the small Samsung camera!! Sooo Cool
Like the new touch at the end with the camera guy popping up around the video recommendations... Awesome as always!
I was gonna comment that 😂! So much attention to detail. Even their synchronization with the music
Now that's what I'm talking about. My LED kits ! !...YES....thanks for posting this Markus :)
Thanx Markus! As usual, entertaining, informative, and FUN!
Perfect timing, Markus! I was just looking for some of these. Thanks, as always.
