but after all's said and done, you guys is wunnerful. I'm just dreading finding out what the assembly costs. and, no, I won't explain why I need a new one. Best philosophy: never, ever, EVER buy a new vehicle. Mine came pre-dented and I happily add to that...let's just say it's a V6, has air and heat and always starts. And, only 148,000 miles. A mere baby. Have also used your videos to replace: passenger power mirror and passenger rear window regulator. DIY is FUN FUN FUN! Thanks, eh? Merry Christmas... 🙂

By the way, this video is about changing the brake light bulbs...NOT THE TAIL LIGHTS.

erm, nup. is entire assembly: parking/brake light bulb, turn signal, side parking light. not not brake light bulbs. that's three (3) separate bulbs: side, brake/tail, tail (yes? lemme know if that's incorrecto..). that's easier, remove inner shield, twist rearmost connector to release brake / tail light bulb socket, turn bulb counterclockwise to release. note position of bulb, AFAIK these are often!! installed incorrectly so that the brake light is ON continuously...oops. insert new bulb (keep the old one, still prolly good for a side light...parts is parts...), insert socket into orifice, turn clockwise?. test all bulbs beFORE putting the inside shield back to ensure they work OK. VIOLA! She's-a done. You just saved BUKU bucks by not taking it to a dealer......
