- VR's illusion of immersion is built on a series of experiences, but sometimes other components of VR take away from that experience, and one of those for me is having to wear glasses in VR. My glasses are so large that they won't fit comfortably, and the glasses keep me from getting as close as I'd like to the lenses. Thankfully the guys at Reloptix have not only provided prescription lenses for all the major VR headsets, but secret sauce is the ability to pop the lenses in and out quickly by a series of magnets. Yes and no. I know the guys from Reloptix through another AV accessory vendor, and they offered a pair of lenses for review. I wanted to do something other than just review them, so the opening of the video was that attempt at some humor, playing on the name of the product and what they do. The second half of the video is an actual review, but there's not a lot to hate about the lenses. I truly have used prior lenses from other manufacturers since 2017, and these are most definitely the best I've found. Since I was provided a promo code, I included it at the end, and I made sure to flag the video as 'paid promotion.' So, yes - I'm highlighting their product on my channel, especially in the opening, but it's also an honest review. I get your feeling though, and respect that you feel that way.

i have no problem with the paid promotion, but you titled your video as a review. where is the review part? how strong is the plastic? how thick is it? how flush do they sit? do they make you adjust the facial interface? how's the coating for glare and blue light? are the magnets strong? do they wiggle in intense movement? is the premium you pay worth it compared to others? etc etc
are you telling us to buy it based on a piece of paper you are reading or from personal experience after using them for a while? from watching this video, the answer is: piece of paper. the only thing you actually reviewed somewhat were your contact lenses.
