A friend of mine was the spitting image of Tom Sellack. My friend’s girlfriend at the time had some kind of connections and got him a tryout for stunt double. It was hilarious watching him get that “Magnum” haircut and all of the clothes to match. The trip to L.A. was arranged, the flight booked but he backed out at the last minute and boy was his girl pissed. That whole scenario ended up causing them to split up. I told him that he had just made the biggest mistake of his life! You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink……
