I went back to grease when i realized it would help with shrinkage due to humidity!! My hair has since been alot smoother and i have been getting less fairy knots 😊

@@Zoe-us9em it did with mine!! Its keeps moisture in, but it also kinda keeps moisture out so my hair doesnt shrink through the day unless my hair gets actual water on it

I think because most of us got perms and it was frowned upon using it on permed hair 🤷🏾♀️. I remember I stopped using it after I got a perm at 14, think I’m gonna try it again.
Yes I blame the natural hair youtubers for telling ppl that blue magic was bad and clog up the scalp...that myth has been debunked ‼️
Because we are scarred. It wasn’t being used in our natural stage it was being used on Easter Sunday 💀
I just started back using Blue Magic and I missed this. My hair was dry as ass, even with using the expensive product. Now!!! My hair is soft and feels mega moisturized.

Girl yes. Blue magic is IT. I used most of these expensive products under the sun and my hair would never stay moisturized. But when i just started using a leave in, cream and grease my hair is FLOURISHING. It has my hair moisturized for DAYS and the curls poppin. I’m never dropping it. 🤷🏾♀️

Used the Indian Hemp Blue Magic grease for my twists last night. I stay using this grease. Be careful though, it still breaks my face out😁

OMG Crystal! Thanks sooo much for validating Blue Magic. I'm 48yrs old. My mom used it in my hair and me and my family use it.. The scent isn't great, so, back in the day, I'd use body sprays on my body to hopefully take care of that lol. Recently, while looking for products for my daughter and I, found Blue Magic Originals Super Sure Gro that smells Awesome! It has shea butter, jojoba oil and Japanese green tea leaves. And just like the blue and green BM, this looks like vaseline with small tea leaves in it (which I thought was odd but the leaves don't get in the way). Btw, I typically find BM in Walmart, Target, Food Lion and other grocery and pharmacy stores. Thanks for sharing and being an awesome, positive role model. I use blue magic all the time especially when I was a child when I wanted my waves to pop some water and blue magic did the trick.
Been using original Blue magic works excellent on twist outs and braid outs don’t need a gel at all for definition

So I purchased the same original blue magic about two months ago and never used it. Sis, it’s coming out of the closet. Literally, a little pull out drawer in my closet. I have some Melanin Oil and I’ll have to decide on the many, many leave ins I have. Next Friday, it’s on y’all!!!!! Beautiful Sis, BUT was it greasy though???? So, I'm late to the party. My mom used this on my hair, I used it on both my daughter's hair and their hair is beautiful, although my 34 yr old put locs in her hair, the 31 year has a beautiful head full of hair. I just found your video after I started using Blue Magic again about three days ago, I loved how my hair turned out from my braid out! I definitely will be keeping up with this routine. Not everyday of course, but definitely at least twice a week. Your hair is beautiful. ❤
You killed me with that “was a little stiff BUT it was moisturized!” Cause it was so true! I’m not fan of the original blue magic either. Thankfully they have soo many other line. The Argan oil vitamin e line is my favorite. It smells good. 😉

Yes, I have heard of using blue magic. Your hair looks gorgeous. Love it!!!!!! I went back to using grease. I use Softee herbal gro grease. My hair likes it. My hair always look shiny and moisturized too. I have also used the Amla oil as well. Awwwwww that is sweet. Congrats on your one year anniversary. Enjoy!!!!!!!🎉🎉

You should try the blue magic super sure gro it smells amazing and it has great herbal ingredients in it. Not to mention they just came out with two new blue magic greases one has Shea butter and the other olive oil and aloe vera I think .

I went back to grease and my hair loves it. I'm high porosity so I need to seal in the moisture well. I use nature's blessing grease. I get from Amazon

I think that we missed the benefits of grease bcuz back in the day we didn’t apply it to damp hair. And on dry hair the greasiness became frustrating for us and we searched for ways to moisturize without it.

Did my big chop & finger coil on wash day using blue magic with my homemade flaxseed gel (added to control frizz) & it stays moisturized forever until wash day again. After 7 days washed, my coils were still moist. My scalp doesn't itch, like when using twisting cremes & and other products. My hair/scalp feels great. Discovered
SIMPLICITY all the way around. Note: you can also infuse it with castor oil and/or essential oils of your choice. It a win/win for me. Blessings
