I'm so proud that my mom is from the Philippines! I'm also a lover of the environment, and it thrills me that as one of the world's Megadiverse countries, the Philippines is truly a biologist's wonderland. Every single island brimming with its own version of "life"! It saddens me that it's nearly gone, too, disappearing faster than most wild places on Earth. Some pockets on some of the islands will exist, tended gardens that would pale in comparison to what was around even a few decades ago. It takes money to protect these things and even the USA can barely keep up. The Vatican would be wise to support environmental issues in a country over which it holds so much sway. A lot of Filipino $$ goes back to the Vatican, after all.
Us Filipino care about the invironment too so we also take care of it that's why every morning I wake up I hear nature and it's beautiful animals 🌺✨💖🌱🍃🌳
Fun fact: ludong was dubbed as "President fish " because it the favorite fish of the late president Ferdinand Marcos. The best tasting and most expensive fish in the Philippines.
I’m a Filipino but have not personally seen most creatures that you featured here. Thank you 😮and I hope that this has raised awareness on how fortunate we are to be surrounded by these beautiful, unique creatures, and to assist in preserving them.
Say, I have a video suggestion, Animals that went extinct but came back, cuz i recently read an article about a green broadbill bird coming back after presumably thought to be extinct. This should spread some awareness about the following animals.p
Nice video!!! Very informative!!! Thanks so much!!! but wait, there are still more interesting animals in the Philippines that makes you to do another list. Like: The smallest edible fish. Trevally that lives in the volcanic crater, the taal lake. The fresh water sardines. The squirrel that can fly. A soft shell turtle. And more like birds, insects, and more waiting to be discover. Good luck and more power!!!
There's so many! I am working on 2 videos right now featuring the Philippines. One will focus on the amazing fishes, and the other the beautiful birds of the country. Stay tuned!

I think i saw some of that animals in my place like that frogs, and it was said that tarsier was only found in Visayas, but in our place before my parents saw a tarsier, even the kagwang or flying lemor and the butterfly. Im from Mindanao in mountain parts of South Cotabato.
no, the most expensive is not the Ludong fish but the prawn fingerlings(sugpo sa dagat), imagine making a fingerlings torta and that will cost you a lot...
That White Winged Flying Fox is gorgeous. I just hope China won't kidnap them for experimentation. Lols
They are! 😊
There are probably some that got smuggled out and in china or other countries
Hindi nman pumupunta yun china sa pilipinas

China has its own albino flying fox but much bigger and not the same species in the Philippines

I see. Thank you for the correction, and for watching!
i think u should specify the pronunciation of 'a'. In english 'a' is pronounced in many different sounds. 'A' in Filipino is the 'a' in hat.
the masbate was pronounced like masturbate😅😅😅
malamang sa accent nya
smartshamer..thats how they pronounce 'a' like banana
